We are heading to disney for 2 days in April 2016 before setting off on our disney cruise. One day will be at the kingdom the other might be at Epcot or discovery cove. We are a family of 5 (3 girls under 7) and stayed at the AoA. We liked it but prefer a closer proximation to the magic kingdom. Just started researching and looking for any suggestions, tips on recommendations.

Thank you.

I would consider Poly. The theming is gorgeous, you'll be two stops away on the monorail to MK and can walk to TTC to catch the EP monorail. It's super convenient!

On the WDW website you can select the different resorts using the compare function which will give you room occupancy maximums. Given you plans you might want a monorail resort as that gives you easy access to both the MK and Epcot. I'd go Contemprary........you can walk to MK and monorail to Epcot. However, most of the Deluxes could accomodate you, although I found that the WL doesn't have a standard room for 5.

Hope this helps.
