Which Moderate is your favorite?

Which moderate would you choose to stay at?? I posted a poll but please tell me why you love the one you choose if you want. We are booking for the week of December 13-21 so take Christmas decorations into consideration too!! Thanks!!!!!

I've only stayed at Coronado twice. I really want to try the others though. Hopefully someday...

I like CSR's gift shop, pool, Pepper Market and the overall themeing and landscaping. It's so pleasant just strolling around it. At night, the Lago is gorgeous...

I haven't stayed at any of the other mods, just CSR - I loved it for the price, convienence (great bus system, better than at some deluxes, imho)atmosphere,amenities.... Really fantastic! And much more affordable than the deluxe resorts, without the sacrifices of the All-Stars....

Dixie Landings is the only one we've stayed out out of those, but we loved it

We've done POR, POFQ and CBR, and our favorite by far is POFQ. The size alone is enough for it to be our favorite, but we also love the landscaping and atmosphere.

i've stayed at all of they except for cbr. we really like dixie landings, but coronado was a close second.

Definitely Coronado. The slide at the pool is much better than the other mods...and I think your John Cole would love it!

I like DxL (or whatever they are calling it now) more than any other Disney owned hotel. The landscaping, the serenity of the resort, I could live there year-round and be a happy camper.

I have a soft spot in my heart for POFQ because that was where DH and I stayed for our first trip (a belated honeymoon) and it was a great romantic resort for a first trip.

However, I think overall CSR is a better resort. CSR is wonderful. Great location, great service (especially the busses) and a gorgeous place. We loved wandering around the resort. When I dream about going back to WDW CSR is what I picture.

I hard stayed at CBR and Dixie Landings.

Both great, but large resorts.

Beauty, if you're taking your gramma, I would seriously consider the smallest resort...Port Orleans.

I voted for the CBR because I love the theme and layout of this resort. The grounds are beautiful and each island has it's own beach area and pool. You can relax on the hammocks on the beaches or rent boats or bikes. The rooms are a good size, bright and clean and the service has always been friendly. I also like the Banana Cabana, the poolside bar! I don't think you can go wrong with the CBR

Without a doubt, the old Dixie Landings. Site of our honeymoon almost 10 years ago.

Of course, it's Port Orleans Riverside now. That may confuse some newer people.

I have only stayed at two of them: CBR & CSR. I would have to say that I absolutely loved CSR and would stay there again. Recently however, I did go and take a walking tour of DxL and loved it... really it is so terribly beautiful there and maybe one time soon I will be staying there Good luck deciding

I've stayed at least twice at all different the moderates. Port Orleans is by far my favorite. I like the small size of the resort. Nothing is more than a 2 or 3 minute walk from wherever you are and usually less. It has the boat to DD. It is so close to DxL so you have two different food courts to enjoy, if you choose, with only a short walk or get on the bus at PO and get off at DxL. Give the option of any, I would always take PO.

It was not my first mod, DL was. And I love DL, but CBR has HUGE Rooms, and I love the beach/island atmosphere. I am a tropical loving woman, no doubt about it. I could sit at the pool and listen to the steel drums on the muzak all day.
