Which MODERATE is your favorite, and why?

We are trying to decide where to stay this year....

POFQ is our favorite. Have stayed there several times. POR is a close second. Didn't really care for CBR and don't wish to stay at CSR since the style is southwest and we live in the southwest.

We love POFQ because it is small and intimate. We love having the river right outside our door (its that desert thing again). The CM's that work there have always been super nice to us. Its beautiful.

CSR!!!!! Why?... the food is great, pool is awesome, grounds are gorgeous, resort is centrally located and the staff is top notch!

We've stayed at CSR and POR. I like POR better than CSR. The themeing was more "Disney" to me and it didn't feel as large as CSR. We're heading back in December of 08 and will be staying at POR.

POFQ is our favorite. It's small and it reminds me of home since I was born and raised in New Orleans. POR is nice as is CBR but they're just a little too big for me. I never liked CSR. It never really felt Disney for me. I stayed there when they first opened and haven't been back since.

We are staying at CBR-no votes yet for this one?

We thought about POR but after looking at pics of the rooms, we opted against it because we didnt like the small looking free standing sinks. I know that sounds silly, but I like to sprawl my toiletries out.

We voted for the CSR--it is by far our favorite resort of all of them (with the Polynesian a close second). We love the quiet pool, the food court, the beautiful landscaping, the pathways for our walks and the serenity of the resort.

CSR is our favorite resort at WDW. Great pool, good food, beautiful landscaping, excellent transportation. We enjoy the Cabana area, where most of the hammocks are located. We really like how spread out the resort is. Have never stayed at CBR, but POR is also is a very nice place. While having no problems with POFQ, we found we really didn't care for the smaller feel of the place--we ended up walking to POR pretty often during much of our stay there. I'm sure you would enjoy any of these resorts!

I chose CSR!!! This resort is not only our favorite mod, but in our top 2 of any of the resorts. We love the pool and slide, Pepper Market, bus service , beautiful grounds, walking around the resort at night, just beautiful, theming...Love, love, love CSR!!!

CBR is my favorite. It was beautiful and peaceful and relaxing.

I love POFQ it is very Charming and Romantic!!
A very close 2nd is POR, you can't go wrong with either resort.
You can share the amenities of Both Sister Resorts.
I fell in love with the Ironwork on the railings and the
beautiful shaped Roof styles. The colors of the building
are very nice also. It is a smaller sized resort which is a plus.
Love the courtyards. Best Hot Tub location of the other Mods
we've visited (not right next to Main Pool but is tucked away).
I also love the Boat Ride to DTD--so fun and conventant--
easy Resort bus hub in DTD-- which helps to get to an ADR
at another resort quickly. We will be trying all of the Mods eventually
but as of now this is our Favorite theming!
Both the POFQ and POR felt more Family oriented than the other Mod
that we've stayed in. They really have that Disney Feeling!!

Port Orleans Riverside! Love the whole feel of the resort. Lots of nice, tree lined paths to walk around. A great pool area. One of the best gift shops on Disney property. And Piano Man Bob Jackson! POR is truly a relaxing escape from the craziness of the parks. I have stayed at CSR, POFQ, and POR. POR is my favorite moderate, hands down!

Voted CBR. I just like the tropical feel. Would like to stay at POFQ someday. Thought about it for our upcoming trip, but with CBR main pool being closed, thought that POFQ, POR, and CSR might be a little more crowded than CBR. Since we don't really care about the main pool and since we love CBR anyways, we just decided to stay there again. It is very relaxing. I have pictures attached below if anyone is interested.

I picked POR, we stayed there 3 times, love the theming, great clean rooms, fantastic food court and gift shop and our friend Gray is the bartender

We stayed for a week during Hurricane Wilma and the staff was out of this world and super helpful...we originally planned on a 4 night stay but because our home was in the direct path of the hurricane the CM at the front desk made it possible to extend our stay for another 5 nights and if we needed to leave early he said we would not be charged for the nights we didnt use...and we werent!

I've stayed at POFQ, CSR, and CBR. Of the three I much preferred POFQ. We loved the boat ride to DTD and the fact that it is so small and is the first bus stop. The resort is so small, no room is that far from the food court or bus stop, plus there is only one bus stop.

CSR we didn't like at all. We got the Casitias section as we requested, but had a bunch of drunk conventioneers to deal with. We tried two different nights to go down to the quiet pool and both times my mom and I were harrassed by drunk conventioneers. We finally gave up. CSR bus transportation is great though.

CBR I just didn't like. Even with a preferred room (Martinique) my room still felt like it was a mile from the food court. That resort is just too big--it took the buses forever to just go around the resort picking people up. The bus system there was really bad.

So far I've changed my mind 4 times!!!

Right now, I'm leaning toward POFQ. I have a bad knee, so smaller sounds better. I'd rather do all my walking in the parks.

But, we really did like CSR..... And CBR and POR sound good too....

How am I going to choose????????

Riverside is my favorite because I love the rustic theming! I think it's a childhood thing! I connect rustic with WDW from the Disney programs I watched on TV.

My second fave is CBR! I love the Carribbean theming!

CSR hands down..I have been there a few times and also stayed @ POR twice...visited both POFQ AND CBR...

When we visited CBR is seemed the least kept up with. The grass was dead in many spots..it seemed run down and dirty compared to CSR (just what I noticed..not to start a debate) and the buses took FOOOORRREEEVVVERRR....the food court was good there though I will say.

POFQ is small and I love the themeing, the grounds were kept up with very well and the staff seemed friendly...we only spent a long afternoon using the pool there (no pool hopping, we were staying @ POR and they are sister resorts so you CAN do this! LOL) and got some drinks and relaxed while the kids played. I like the walkd between the 2 resorts and also the fact you have the DTD boat.

BUT..............I LOVE CSR. The grounds are immaculately kept

, the pools are great

, the Pepper Market has an awesome selection,

the staff was very attentive to us....And there is something about that backdrop for photos that gets me:
