which Moderate hotel has the best pool?

We are interested in having a water-park type experience for a couple days while we stay at the end of April. We cannot afford the Beach Club. Obv Storm along Bay would be the obvious choice but it's not in the cards.

We thought about getting the water park option added to the ticket but the more we thought about it, it's better if it's right outside your door and you can swim for an hour or two vs taking a bus over yo typhoon or blizzard.



Which moderate has the best pools? waterslide? Fountains? Lazy river?

Out of the ones we have stayed at POR, POFQ and CBR, CBR is our favorite. The main pool has 2 great slides and it has a child splash area that is great for little ones. None of the Moderates have a lazy river.

CSR IMO ... possibly the best pool at all of Disney ...

The best pool in the moderates is in CSR, IMO. It is simply awesome! POR and CBR are pretty good too. We're not so fond of the POFQ pool, though.

We've stayed at CBR & CSR. Both trips were in June so busy pool times.

CBR has a cute/cool pirate theme & two slides. Zero entry area is a nice place to sit and relax or play with little ones. The little kids splash area is awesome, is gated off & right next to the main pool. We found there to be limited seating & the lounge chairs were pretty packed in close together. Hot tub is on the other side of the pool so it is a little more secluded. Pool bar nearby. Indoor food court/snacks close by.

CSR provides larger open areas to actually swim (we found the CBR pool to feel crowded & not much swimming area.) Slide is cool. Wading pool is VERY basic & boring. Pyramid waterfall is cool & fun for kids. Always found a good lounge spot or table. They do an opening ceremony for kids in the mornings. Hot tub is next to main pool. Pool bar & snack bar are next to main pool.

Overall, the kids liked CBR for the theme & the adults liked CSR for the open space. Have a great trip!

Hi I have stayed at POR and CSR and both have nice pool areas and slides. I have to give a slight edge to CSR. The pool is a little larger, the slide a little longer and a bigger hot tub.

You can't go wrong with either.

I have only stayed at CSR, but I was asking this same question prior to booking there. I would like to point out that CSR's pool area has much more to offer than just the pool, and it is all very close together. My kids loved the ping pong table and arcade. The playground and a huge sandbox is also right there. My husband and I could grab some chairs and our kids had a variety of things to do within eye shot. We were disappointed that the pool bar/snack stand closed at 6ish. We would have enjoyed to have it open after dinner for a drink while the kids played.

They had an early evening bonfire followed by an outdoor movie. Although, I think all the mods offer that.

We are staying at POR next time, and the reviews are good for there as well. and the pool bar is open later.

Yeah but having the ability to be at both the POR and POFQ pools brings it up to even with the CBR and CSR IMO. Just think, two pool bars Oh, and did I mention the stand alone hot tub at POFQ that is a ways away from the pool. Seems to keep the little ones from running back and forth

We've stayed at all four moderates and prefer the pool at CSR.

I like CBR best but with a family of 5 we are spending our vacations at POR. The kids seem to enjoy the pool..
