Which Moderate has best pool, dining options and transportion!

Trying to decide whether to save $$$ by not staying at a Deluxe this year. We typically stay at the BC, but the money does add up. Which moderate do you feel ranks the highest in regards to best pool, dining options and transportation to the parks.

CSR hands down!! Great main pool area, the best food court and options and it is centrally located with short rides to the park and it does not share buses with other resorts.

Pepper Market. Huge portions, great choices and tasty food. Lunch/Dinner Menu

Best Pool – Voted by Dis’ers
Best mod pool. It offers a great slide (123 ft long), an arcade, a sand volleyball court, and a playground at the main pool area.

Based upon your criteria, it is CSR -- Hands down!

Great food court, nice table service restaurant, great pool and multiple stops for bus transportation.

I haven't stayed at CSR but I do agree that it looks like a great choice.

I have stayed at POR and I thought it was wonderul, You have 2 food courts (right next to french quarter) and a restaurant. You also have three pools (2 with waterslides) and two hot tubs. There are 4 bus stops at Riverside and 1 at french quarter, and you can take the boat to downtown disney. I guess it could depend on what time of year you go but the buses were always prompt and we never had to stand. The theming is wonderful and the property is beautiful. Just thought I'd offer a different opinion.

I think the Hot Tub is the largest on property, its massive, the slide is great and the pool is huge.

We're CBR people, but I've never stayed at CSR. We love the tropical theming at the CBR and everytime I walk into the marketplace I feel like I'm in the Carribean-really. What a fun choice to make!

We were in Cabanas 9B. It was about a 4-5 min strolling walk to both the main pool and the food court/check in area. It really is a beautiful resort. My only complaint is that there is little shading when walking around in the hot Florida sun. Really a small complaint.
We visited POR, and it was nice to walk around the AB area, because it seemed much more shaded and comfortable to walk around a large resort.

I was at CSR and would agree with 2 out of 3

Pool - good slide, good jacuzzi, good fun

Transportation - Buses were everything I had read, not crowded, no other stops, very good.

Food - I was not impressed at all with the Pepper Market. The menu was limited and the lines to pay on the way out (when you want to get going to the parks) was loooong. Staff in the PM was not very 'Disney' like

We were in Casitas 5 which was close to Bus stop #2(the first one they stop at on the way home, and a short walk over the bridge to the pool. A little far from the main building and food.

Wow, I totally disagree. I did not like CSR. It is TOO spread out. It took me 20 minutes just to walk for coffee in the morning. I requested a specific bldg. close to the restaurant and bus stop, but what I got was a room as far from the front as possible. Not even the furthest bldg, but the top floor to boot! Waiting for that elevator took much too long, so we wound up walking down all the flights of stairs. Full with conventioners, so there was no room to move us. We rented a car rather than have that long walk everyday. It also bothered me that there was no Disney feel....first thing in the morning we didn't encounter too many magical faces...it was business attire and people hurrying to meetings. We stayed there specifically because of all the DISers who seem to love this place - but for the life of me, I don't understand why!
My favorite moderate is POR mansions. Very southern, elegant feel to the resort. But the best feature is the boat directly to DD. A nice plus after a day in the parks.

Toss up between CSR and POFQ. CSR for overall ambiance and dining options (though I would stay away from the "Mexican Food" at Pepper Market. POFQ for the small intimate size, pool and busses.

Between the two - CSR is the most gorgeous!!
