Ok so after looking around a bit I think I have my heart set on CBR, anyone stayed there? How did u find it?
Or is there another mod which u prefer?

Big resort although in villages depends on wht you want I am a fan of French quater as its the smallest of the mods

to be honest here, CBR is at the bottom of my list for Mods. Having had a really good nose around all of them, my order of pref is POR, POFQ, CSR then CBR.
Its just too spread out and unless you get a room really near to the main buildings it can be a long walk. It is a very pretty resort (well the all are really) but I didn't like their food court much.
Although POR is also a big resort you are only ever within 10 mins from the main buildings, there are lots of pools, the food court is one of the best and you can walk to POFQ to use their pool and food court as well. The biggest draw for us to POR is the boat to DTD, just love it. POFQ is a much smaller resort and the only reason I prefer Riverside is because of all the pools. CSR we just don't particually like the theme and it also has a conference centre which can make it busy. :)

Just read the title of this thread and thought you were referring to which was your favourite Moderator :lmao:

As far as moderate resorts, we haven't stayed at any of them but have visited Port Orleans French Quarter and really loved it. If we were to ever stay at a moderate resort, this is the one we would choose.

As for my favourite moderator, well I couldn't possibly say......;)

I liked port Orleans riverside, it was really pretty and even though big we didn't mind. I would try fq if staying at a mod again though.

That was my first thought too :rotfl2:, followed by 'you can't possibly ask that! :scared1: Needless to say I couldn't possibly choose as you're all fab :cheer2:

Looking forward to our first stay at a mod in July and have chosen POFQ. I'm sure we'll love it. :woohoo:

Brownie points for Mrs TT ;)

Like I said above, if I was going to stay at a mod I would choose POFQ, hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to try the jambalaya and the beignets :thumbsup2

Less than four weeks for our first stay at French Quarter, chosen because of the small size mainly, plus the boat to DTD and the many photos by 2Tiggies.

CSR : don't like the theming and the global "feel" of the resort

CBR : nice resort but a bit large. We liked the pirate rooms, but those are located in trinidad south, which is as far as can be from the food court. Transportation is provided within the resort, but if you have to take the grand tour of the resort before getting to your destination, then it's useless.
I probably would stay there again if it was not more expensive than the other mods. The resort just doesn't justify it being more expensive than PO

POFQ : very compact resort. But the lack of quiet pools, and the very noisy central pool don't do it for me.

POR : It's probably my favorite mod. The quiet pools are nice, as I prefer to use them rather than the larger pools. It's a bigger resort than POFQ but it's really manageable since it's divided in two (magnolia and bayou).

The ability to pool hop between both PO resorts is just enough to take the win. (Not to mention the boat to DTD)

We really liked por-booked for pofq this year.

I notice next year cbr and csr are cheaper options than por and pofq.

Don't really know why there's a difference in prices.

I don't really like the look of the food set up at csr,I like foodcourts.
I too think cbr looks very nice, never been, but doesn't seem to get the same love as por.:confused3

I have chosen to stay in POR for my first trip (in 3 days!!) - I chose it because there were many pools, it got good reviews everywhere I went, although it is big the walks from the food court never seem to be too bad and there is a boat to DTD. I also really liked the look of the theming for CBR, but there are a lot of recent reviews saying it is run down and outdated and needs a refurb and it is also the only mod with double beds rather than queens so I went for POR - I will let you know soon if it was the right choice for me!! :)
