Which meal should be eaten at The Wave?

Hi all,
I'm staying at the Contemporary for my first time in March (Yay!) and I really want to try The Wave. Since I'm staying at The Contemporary just about any time of day would be convenient for me. I've looked at the menus and just can't decide between Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner!
Also, what menu item do you reccomend?
Thanks!

Hi!

This past summer, my sister, cousins and I ate at The Wave for the first time. It was lunch.

Two of us are vegetarians (me and my sister), and the options were really limited, even though we knew that beforehand. We just wanted to go so we could try out various resort eateries, and the dessert trio things looked delicious from all the pictures here on the DIS ... and you know how it is, if you see it here on the DIS, you have to try it! :thumbsup2 Even though the options were limited for us, the menu descriptions just sounded really great.

My sister had the vegetarian sandwich which she really enjoyed, but it definitely wouldn't be anything she'd just have to have again. I tried a bite and I loved it. I had the vegetable stew and it was great, but still, I wouldn't sing its praises like I would for Boma or the CP. It had a nice slightly salty, herb-y taste to it.

I want to go for breakfast on the next trip because of the many unique options that all of us - vegetarian or not - can partake in.

Thanks for the reply! I know what you mean about something that you don't have to have again. I have my very favorite restaurants at WDW that I stick to every trip, and because of that and my love for that food at the particular restaurant, I usually only try one new place per trip. The Wave might be it this trip. I am like a Disney foodie. I claim Disney has the best food in the world and that I only go so often because of the food. :rotfl:

No problem!

The food is one of the best parts! Just look at how many times Zebra Domes or Dole Whips or the popcorn and Mickey ear ice creams or Le Cellier are mentioned around here! No wonder it draws us back so often.

I hope you like the Wave. Maybe it'll become one of your new favorites! This next trip, we're going to branch out and try places we haven't been to, but like you said, we have favorites ... and I am loyal to mine! :worship:

I've had lunch there before and have really enjoyed it.

Thanks for the input :goodvibes
Lunch might be the meal I do. The menu looks good and breakfast seems nice, but generic. The breakfast menu for The Wave seems like they have a lot of items that everywhere has for breakfast. :confused3

We had dinner at the bar there one night last trip. I loved the Citrus - Avacado Salad in particular. It was divine.

We'll definately be back. Everything was very good.

We have had dinner there twice, amazing!
