Which meal at OKW - Breakfast or lunch

Hi everyone!!!
My DH and myself have never been over to OKW. We are staying at the Boardwalk (home resort) and would love to go over and take a look at the resort. I am trying to decide on having breakfast or luch at Olivias. I have read good reviews on the breakfast and the lunch menu looks great too. For those that have been to Olivias which meal do you prefer?

We really like both...so I'd choose based on the timing of what else you want to do that day...b'fast would be better if you want your day free to finish your exploration of OKW and then head someplace else...lunch works better for a "sleep-in" day...

Olivia's is one of our favorite restaurants...

B'fast will likely be busier/more crowded...our typical WDW trip has us arriving around 1-1:30, and at that time we never have any trouble getting a table at Olivia's, so that might be worth considering, too...

We have never eaten breakfast there, but lunch multiple times and it was really good. When dh and I went by ourselves, we ate lunch twice at the bar (Gurgling Suitcase). Some sporting event was on that DH wanted to watch. We usually go to a different resort one day on our trip. We start off at one park, head to a resort for lunch and walk around, and then head back to a different park.

i've had both. i'd lean toward breakfast as preferred.

to be clear, i've never been blown away by dining at olivia's - it's not really a "destination"/fancy cuisine-type restaurant. but i've never had a bad meal there and enjoy the homey and relaxed atmosphere.

We've only eaten breakfast at Olivia's so far, I'm sure that will change soon since OKW is our home resort. The banana bread french toast was really good!

Doesn't matter, the Bloody Mary's are amazing here and make the meal great.

It was the banana bread french toast that I read about that caught my eye. I Love breakfast and this sounded sooooo yummy. I think we will try breakfast and if we have a free afternoon later in the week we may go back and try for lunch.

I would have to go with breakfast. They have a shrimp omlet that is really good!

We have had both lunch and dinner there. Great both times. Dh and I had a great relaxed meal there at sunset, outside on the patio in January. So peaceful to sit near the water watching the people go by with a beverage.
Breakfast is on our to do list.

I agree, both would be a good choice. I'd tend to do breakfast OOP and lunch on the DP since they now have the all day menu.

Hopefully the menu hasn't changed TOO much since we were there last a couple years ago. Although OKW is our favorite resort, most of our points are at AKV and the kids like the animals so we don't get there as often as we'd like. That said, we have a couple of 'must dos' at Olivia's. One is the tomato fresh mozzarella salad, the other is the key lime pie. AND we have to have a Sultry Seahorse (beverage) as well. If we not too hungry, those will do on their own, but we can also share an entree, or even order 2 if necessary. Breakfast at OKW has not disappointed us, either, but I would recommend the "classics" for lunch if still available.

DW and I are SSR owners. A tradition of ours is to bike over to Olivia's for breakfast at least once while we are "home"! While we have never done lunch, we love Olivia's. Nothing pretentious. Just good food and service.
