Which is the lessor of 3 evils..Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter week?

I went Christmas last year and it was crowded. Really crowded. But we had a great time. But I had a ADR for every dinner.

This year I am going Thanksgiving for WDW and then to then back at Christmas for a few days following a short cruise. I love this time of year at disney. The decorations, the cool weather, although last Christmas was much colder than the year before!! I will make plans and ADR's and have a great time.

Whichever time you go will be crowded, so just pick the best time for your family and plan and make ADR's (early) and it won't be so terribly bad. Oh, and use the fastpasses too.

1ST, 2ND, 3RD AND 4TH CHOICE: Easter!

We went last year when the three biggies all hit at the same time: Easter, Spring Breaks for many schools and colleges across the country, and Florida school break.

Yes, it was crowded (!) but MK was open for nearly 20 hours/day -- one day it was open from 7 AM until 2 (or was it 3?) AM the next morning.

The weather was great! Just a little morning sprinkle, which cleared out the parks, and then lovely. Not humid and hot like summer and not cool for pool swimming like Thanksgiving and Christmas (I know some people will say you can swim at WDW then because the pools are heated, but the air sure isn't).

The key was to hit the parks early and clear out when the masses flow in at 1ish or so. We also used FastPass and wound up NEVER waiting longer than 10 min. or so for anything.

I couldn't agree more with all of this! I vote for Easter...we always go over April vacation...you just need to be ready for the crowds, but the weather is beautiful...and well, to us it wouldn't be Disney without crowds!! Though PLANNING is absolutely necessary for this time of year...esp. with your meals and the fast passes!
