Just as the title asks...
Mission space can be horrible if you have any issue with claustrophobia.
Otherwise, I suppose Star Tours moves more.
FWIW, Mission Space is the only ride with a visible barf bag![]()
Anyways, DD wants to try it, but I'm only willing to let her go on the tame green side..if indeed it is actually tame.

Could someone explain why everyone is saying stay off Mission Space if you have claustrophobia? I guess, can someone explain the details of the ride.

You sit in a small 4 person capsule. They close the doors on both sides and the instrument panel moves in close to you.
It has never bothered me, but I can see how a person that does not like confined spaces could be uncomfortable.
If you are interested, there are many YouTube videos that show the ride.
Can someone explain to me the difference between MS Green and MS Orange?
We rode the green side twice on our last trip, and I thought it was extremely tame. I was thinking about being a little daring and trying the orange side this time but, I would feel better if I knew what I was getting myself into.. lol
I think the orange side spins. I rode it not long after it opened and it ruined my entire day. I was queasy and had a headache until I slept it off that night. Ugh. I should have known better, because I don't do well on spinning rides (teacups, blech) but I thought since I couldn't SEE the spinning that it might be okay. It wasn't. I had even taken two motion sickness pills that morning (bonine) and it didn't make any difference.
I can ride the green side with no problem at all. Star Tours makes me a little worried, but I've never actually gotten sick from it as long as I take the bonine. The teacups still make me somewhat queasy if DD spins the cup, and of course she always does. (She didn't even know it COULD spin until she was about 5 or 6 years old. I'd always held onto that wheel in the center with a death grip to keep it from spinning, lol. She thought we always got broken cups. She was angry with me when she found out I'd been tricking her for years. Now she's old enough to ride alone, so no more teacups for me...yay!)
bumbershoot said:The green side is simply a motion simulator. It tilts you down a bit and has some extra small physical effects. Everything else is done with your eyes as you watch the screen, so if it bothers you, close 'em. (don't do this on the spinny side though!!!)
I love the easy side of MS. Makes me sleepy when they tilt you down, like it's the only time I've ever fully relaxed in my life. Love it.
I would say MS green (or "easy" as I call it, since I never remember which one is spinny vs not) is easier, because you don't have to wear 3D glasses.
