We have eaten at Park Fare before and we wanted to try something different. It is a combo trip of Anni/BD dinner. I have heard that HDDMR is great fun for a family.

It is hard to compare them becuase they are so different...

One is a buffet with multiple choices... one is a sit down with a fixed menu.

One is a dinner show... one is a character meal...

One is at a beautiful hotel... one is at pioneer hall... so different.

I guess if you have a little girl who wants to meet Cinderella - then Park Fare is a good option.

If you are looking for a good laugh for the whole family - then definately Hoop Dee Doo.

1900PF is good food with many choices and Cinderella, if that's important to some of the family. I think HDDR is alot of fun, but think that the price is really high for the meal you get(average chicken, ribs corn bread ). May I suggest Ohana at poly? Great food with the open pit for skewered meats, lots of kid games, entertainment for the adults..very good meal and fun for all.
Have fun!

If you are looking for entertainment the HHDR must be seen. The food isn't bad either.

It's a hot ticket, and it always sells out months in advance, so they MUST be doing something right. :D

We've been twice, and loved it both times. The food is filling and plentiful, and the show is a hoot. If you're looking for "fun for the whole family," this is it.

That said, we LOVE 1900 Park Fare. For breakfast or dinner, it's the best character meal. Fantastic food, fantastic characters, fun atmosphere.

Whatever you decide, enjoy!

I appreicate all your help. We have done a Character each time we have gone to WDW. That was 3 times just last year. I was looking for something the 3 of us could to for a special night out.
I guess I will have to talk it over with DH and see which way we want to go.

Thanks to you all.  :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

Its very different from a character meal. Great fun for the whole family. My DH was skeptical to try it at first, but loved it! So much so we have it booked for our next trip in October!

Hoop de Doo all the way!:D
