We are thinking of going Sunday to Saturday in fall 08. Which is better?

It depends on week by week in some cases. And what holiday decorations you want to see. Halloween stuff goes up mid - late September. Oct's pretty busy with Mickey's Trick or Treat thing going on, Gay days, other convention stuff I think. Nov is busy Vet's day weekend and Thanksgiving week. Christmas parade is likely to start Nov 21.

So what about September or early october is when we are thinking.

September is pretty quiet after Labor Day. October will get busy quite quickly once HMH is open and Halloweentime is in full swing. Gay Days is Oct. 3-5, and many AZ schools have fall breaks the week of Oct. 6th.

We were there last Sept. the 27th ~ 29th. Halloween Decor was up and HM was reopen with the cute Nightmare B4 C~mas theme. Crowds weren't bad at all, however it was a little too hot for my liking, the temp. at the end of last month was lovely. Another weekend to avoid in Oct. is Utah's UEA break, my son had the Fri. Mon. Tues. prior to Halloween off last year. I just did a quick search and it looks like UEA will be 10/16~17 this year.

September.

Right after Labor Day through the end of the month is best.

In October you have various Fall breaks plus Columbus day plus promotions for Halloween decorations.

In November you have Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving plus the start of holiday season.

Go right after Labor Day. It's empty then.

I agree with others that September is wonderful. I have gone twice at Halloweentime and will go again this year. It's not hot it's nice and warm, however it COULD be hot it's still Summer. Mid week Mon-Thus lower crowds, nice weather. Halloween goes up 19th.

We'll be celebrating my son's 5th birthday there on Nov 2nd also! Maybe we'll see you there to say Happy Birthday! :thumbsup2

I was there September 9-12 and it was not crowded at all. In fact, we walked onto all rides except Splash, PP and Storybook Land Canal boats, but that was just because we rode all of those mid-afternoon.
