Hi guys just trying to save as much money on things we are AAA members and was wondering is it cheaper to stay at the swan or dolphin or stay at the All star Music Package deal and maybe see what discounts they will have not going until 2023 but there is no time like planning

You can easily check the price on line. Just keep in mind that when looking at the Swan/Dolphin (Swolphin) that you have to add the resort fee to the quoted rate.

Between your choices, also keep in mind that the Swolphin is more like a deluxe resort while ASM is definitely a value resort. Swolphin has a definite advantage in being a short walk/boat ride to two parks. ASM is a bus ride to all the parks.

All Star Music will most likely be cheaper but I booked Swan for only 300 dollars more for an 8 night stay from September 25 to October 3rd. I did ise a third party so it's best to check you dates.

For an example, for Columbus Day weekend, All Star Music is $180 a night. Swan is $708 a night, plus resort fee.

Call the Swolphin to see what the best rate is for you there. My experience has been that I get a much better rate with a person on the phone than on line. Also, they have significant discounts for teachers, healthcare and other professions/groups.

Depends on the dates. All Star Music might price higher if there is a band or cheerleading competition going on at the same time.

And if you drive, I think the parking fee is up to $29 a night. So 29 plus resort fee (35?) comes to about an extra $64 a night :hyper2::crutches:

Disney is now charging Resort Guests for parking. I think:

$10 for Value
$15 for Moderate
$20 for Deluxe

So I think it’s plus $54, not $64.

Kinda funny we are comparing the two. Having stayed at both, we’re talking about a Motel 6 with Disney theming versus a Deluxe hotel within walking distance of two theme parks.

That the two would be priced even within the same ballpark suggests just how overpriced Disney hotels are.

Remember, DME is ending this year while the Swan and Dolphin will have access to evening extra hours beginning in October, just like Disney’s Deluxe Resorts.

All Star will be cheaper plus Swan/Dolphin charges daily parking.

If you are a Costco member, their quoted price for the Swan/Dolphin will include the daily resort fee. They also only charge you for 5 nights parking max, after that you won't be charged. (assuming that doesn't change by 2023)

For example quick internet search for two people on Aug 9/Aug 10, movies showed 166/night + parking, Swan 178/night + parking and resort fee.
So movies a little cheaper. But when I booked my upcoming stay, my total price was only $40 total more for Dolphin. So it was an easy choice, as I had stayed at All Star Sports on a previous trip and didn't like the crowded shared busses with all the All Star resort and in my opinion the bed was very uncomfortable. We generally don't spend a lot if time at our hotel, so that is why we went value, but even as tired out as I was, it was uncomfortable to sleep.

The ability to avoid busses to 2 parks was huge to me, especially getting a more comfortable stay, and going with a grandchild this time may break more at resort and dolphin has a nice pool. And with the Epcot monorail running, it will be easier to park hop to Epcot from MK for dinner and walk homeowners if we are having a rest just walk to Epcotband monorail over to MK, also a cool mini golf near Dolphin

If you are a Marriott reward member, or AARP, of AAA they have discounts.

If you are looking onsite, check out rates at Port Orleans, we stayed at Dixie Landings years ago, before they combined the resorts and were very happy with our stay.

I have to say there was a lot of sticker shock when I saw how much the Disney properties had increased in price since our last visit. I've never in my life contemplated spending $500 or more on a hotel room. For that kind of price, I'd expect more than most of the Disney hotels would give me.
