Which is better?

We are planning a trip! Woopee! Just wondering which is better- first or second week in December or a week in January. We went the last time over MLK holiday so know what to expect then but was just wondering how the weeks compare.

In my experience, as far as park "crowds" go, the three weeks are very similar. We've been in both the first and second weeks of December as well as the first full week of January (after New Year's/Christmas guests leave). Have not actually been on MLK weekend, though, which is probably a bit more crowded than the other times mentioned.

Because of all the holiday activities and decorations, I'd choose to go in early December over January every time! No contest whatsoever as far as I'm concerneed!

Week of December we have been during this time frame each year since 1992.Crowds are not bad and we love the hoilday decorations,MVMCP,CP,Osbourne Lights.Crowds are not bad and weather is nice.Weather can vari greatly and has over the years for us.Bring clothing items for very hot and very cold weather.
