Which is Better

We are going to Disney in October, DH, DS 8,DD 5, and myself. I am trying to finalize our CMs and TS.

Which would you recommend, Chef Disney or Whispering Canyon? We are already attending 1900 Park Fare and LTT so I was wondering if I should do another CM.

They are both "fun" in their own ways. Chef Mickey's is buffet,characters and singing. Wispering Canyon is Menu (with a yummy skillet option),characters (the CMs) and tomfoolery. Both are great and my family never misses a visit to both on a trip. BUT since you have character meals try Wispering Canyon-esp if you kids are outgoing and like to be silly and have fun! It is such a great time. I have been with Niece 5,Nephew9, Godson 9 his brothers 6 and 12. Thay had a blast! Not to mention all the trouble the adults got in!

We are going in Aug and have both scheduled again!

I agree with the previous poster. We liked both when we went last time, so much that we're returning to them again. We ate at Whispering Canyon twice on our last trip (we stayed at WL), and even though we're at the Poly this time, we're making it a point to return there for dinner one night. Chef Mickey's is a blast too. When I was doing our ADRs for this trip, he said that I really needed to make sure we did that one again because the food was good and the atmosphere was fun. I wish I could help you decide!

I would do Chef Mickey's especially if you never have. It's a blast and can your really ever have too many character meals? We did 3 last year....CM, CP & LTT and this year we are doing 5....all the ones from last year plus GG& 1900 PF. The kids love them!

I like WCC the best. It is a great place to have fun and the food is delicious. Its also nice to just to venture to the Wilderness Lodge and look around while you are there if that's not where you are staying. CM is festive and fun, but I like WCC better!

Since you are already doing 2 character meals then I would try WCC it is so much fun and the food is better than Chef Mickey's IMO. We always go to WCC on our WDW trips because the kids love it!

Another vote for WCC. The food is plentiful and hearty and the CMs are always in character. Think Prime Time Cafe with cowboy outfits and country accents. Be sure to ask for ketchup! (trust me!)

Both are fun but I like the food at WCC much better than Chef Mickeys so I'd choose there. Unless your kids are big Mickey fans. You don't have a Mickey meal. So if they is more important choose CM
