Which is better: Canon SD600, SD700 or an Exilim?

I'm looking to replace my old digital camera, and I hope one of the experts here can help me! I'd like something small with a large LCD screen, decent MP's and optical zoom, that takes quality photos. Oh, and after my 2002 model CyberShot, I'd love a camera with little to no shutter lag! Preferrably in the $400 or less price range.

After looking at a couple of stores and reading reviews online, I've narrowed it down to either a Canon SD600, SD700 or one of the Casio Exilim models (not sure which is best).

Does anyone have any experience with those cameras? Or maybe there's another camera I should consider? I'm just really on the fence and looking for that *something* that will set one camera apart from the others. :)

Thanks!

If you want something slim, then the SD700 is the answer. If you want better picture quality and wanting superzoom (which results in the necessity of Image Stabilizer), Canon S3 IS (about $350). If you just want superzoom with great quality but don't care about Image Stabilizer, Fuji S5200 (supposedly around $250)

Thanks for the reply! How big is the S3 IS compared to the SD700?

Dimensions (W x H x D):

SD700, 4x zoom only: 3.56 x 2.22 x 1.04 in. / 90.4 x 56.5 x 26.4mm
S3 IS, 12x zoom: 4.46 x 3.07 x 2.97 in. / 113.4 x 78.0 x 75.5mm
