Which is better? Calling member services or online reservations?

Tomorrow our 11 month window opens for BLT. I want to book a MK view. Unfortunately, I can not be on the phone when member services opens. Do you think I would have better luck with an online reservation request or waiting until I can call member services?

Does anyone know when or how quickly they take care of online reservation requests?

Olnine normally takes 24+ hours. I'd call tomorrow when you have a chance.

Written requests are busy work that take a back seat to telephone requests. Call as soon as you can, or have another family member do it.

if im not too late....my 11 month window opened up about a week ago and i called yesterday and got the nine days i wanted..i got a one bedroom lake view with no problems....sending u pixie dust and hoping for the best!!!

It is not a true on-line reservation system. You send your email, sometime the next day somebody may actually look at it (possibly at the end of that day) and then do your reservation. You are going to be attempting to get time near July 4 (and possibly including July 4), a very high DVC demand time and for which MK view at BLT is likely going to be something in extremely high demand because of the July 4 activities and fireworks. I would suggest you find a way to call first thing in the morning. In fact, you might consider calling today and make a ressie that includes 11 months from today and then you can call tomorrow and drop first day (and add last if necessary) because if you want July 4 MK view there is some risk it could be gone already.

Wow! I had never considered booking early to guarantee the 4th, then dropping the early days. I'll have to remember that one.

Good news! I was able to get away and call this morning about 10AM and I was able to book the MK view at BLT! So excited to watch fireworks there!!!
