And why do you think so? Which has the better kids activities, both free and add-on?

We have stayed AKL Concierge twice and to my knowledge there are no children specific activities. The lodge itself does offer free activities that are open to all of their guests.

Guests staying concierge can book the Sunrise Safari which is about $50 per person and takes place over at the AK. There is no age restriction on this tour.

I am not aware of the POLY having any sort of concierge only activity.

I didn't mean conciege-only activities for kids, just kids activities in general, but I did find some answers on other threads! How would people rate the two? Which is better?

I have only done Poly but will say that I seem to read better reviews for AKL concierge service. But for us the Poly location wins out. We've got 3 kids who needed strollers on our last 2 trips. Gotta love the monorail! I also love that we can watch the fireworks from our room or Poly beach. The Poly rooms are bigger and have a daybed. We've never seem to be around the resort for kid activities but those activities will be on the list of things to do for our October trip. We visited AKL for Boma breakfast and I really liked it. The public areas we explored were really nice.

I have not tried the Poly's concierge so I don't really feel qualified to say....but based on the service I've had at the Poly in other regards, the view of the castle from the concierge room, and the range of offerings (I've read about carved fruit plates and lots of great stuff) I would vote for the Poly. It would be great to hang around this hotel, have a snack, then watch fireworks from the beach or the lounge.

I tried AKL's concierge but it wasn't that friendly and I found it nothing truly special. I liked the coffee machine and the African smoothies on tap, but the hot offerings were more of the African food that you get at Boma anyway and nothing else was really any different from the other WDW concierges. We love AKL though so we are trying it again next trip in case we were there during an off-time. I've read that GF's RPC has quite a range of offerings that sounded scrumptious. (the reviews on Deb W.'s site sounded great). That's also where I'm headed next trip :). :cloud9:
