Which is better...Advantage or Frontline for flea protection??

Just wondering what you guys think or what your pet in on. Murphy has been on Advantage for a few years, with good luck. But this year he got a few fleas. We had a terrible problem when we tried Sentinel. That was awful. So we went back to Advantage. I just seen a commerical for Frontline...now I'm wondering if maybe it's time for a switch.
I hate dealing with fleas. Yuck!!!!!

I have a dog, 5 cats and a rabbit. I have used Frontline PLUS for years, and have had no problems at all with it. (I do put it on the cats, even though they are indoor cats only, because they can get them from windowsills.) As long as it is used consistantly, I have been very happy with it. I have not used the other brands you mentioned, sorry.

My neighbor uses Frontline on his Golden retriever and swears by it. He did say if he's found a tick, it's always toward the head making it easier to find since the Frontline drives them away from the body, though they have been minimal and we live in a wooded area.

So Dan, how did you end up getting rid of your fleas? I am really sorry to hear that you are having problems, I know how frustrating it can be. I have a suggestion for you, don't let anyone take Advantage from you.

Thanks for all the replys. I'm going to talk with the vet. Might switch just to try it out. Murphy (the dog) is flea free right now and I want to keep it that way!!!
