Morimoto’s.
For several years it was our go to “time to leave” informal brunch but they changed the menu around too much dropping some of our favorite dishes such as laksa and we moved on.
Now I see they are putting out an actual brunch menu loosely based on dim sum and I’m ready to go back. Always did a credible job producing tender and thin dumplings as well as sushi. Love the pork spare ribs and hot and sour soup as well. Of course the Peking duck and buri bop make for great sharing dishes.

Wine Bar George. It's a more relaxed option ... great food, not so loud you can't have a conversation, great service. Highly recommend the burrata dish.

When you go to the Boathouse during brunch hours on the weekend, are you only able to order from the specific brunch menu ("Brunch Mains" on the website) or do you get the full menu to choose from?

You can order anything off of the regular menu they just add brunch items to the menu that's available

Pro tip: ask to be seated in the shade on the porch at Boathouse. Brunch inside is crazy crowded and loud. Outside you serenely gaze at the water while you eat your body weight in hot rolls with icing glaze with cinnamon butter.

There are dueling pianos inside which are fun but add to the I’m sitting at someone else’s table and my server can’t get within 6 feet of us vibe.
