Please can pople who have stayed at Pop let me know which building it is best to request and why? I am going to fax them tomorrow with a room request.

Thank you.

We stayed in the 50's block (3101 - 3472) and had a great room overlooking the lake, and as we were on the third floor we could see the fireworks from MK and Epcot too. :)

This also has the bowling pool right outside, which doesn't get as crowded as the hippy dippy pool in the 60's block. 50's, 60's & 70's are probably the closest blocks to the classic hall.

I have a map of the Pop but no idea how to put it in my posting :confused3

Thanks very much that sounds like a good place. (Where in the Wirral do you live? I was born in Birkenhead and my Dad still lives in Moreton)

Anyone else have an opinion?

Ive stayed in the 50's and 60's and those are great blocks, really close to everything. :goodvibes

we stayed in the 90's building and i thought that was great ;)

see you soon Claire x x x

We love the 90's building too, we always have a ground floor room looking towards the Computer Pool. It's a 5 minute walk to the Food Court and we cut across the car park to get to the buses

Mandy :)

What do you like about the 90's building Nat?

I will leave a message at the desk for you when I arrive to let you know what room i'm in case you need to get in touch with me about the cruise.

Is that noisey Mandy?

i agree with everything mandy has said :) thats a great spot. might be a bit noisy but no more than you would expect :thumbsup2

now I don't know which to pick as I like the sound of being able to see the Fireworks but 5 mins to the Food Court sounds good as well.

:rotfl2: i had a similar dilemma and i decided to leave it to fate in the end ;)

(it's a) Small World :) . Just down the road from Moreton, in Greasby.

I'm sure which ever block you choose you will have a good time, we couldn't fault the Pop at all. When we were there the staff at the food hall did two dances, at 8am and 6pm (the hustle) each day, good fun to watch if you are passing (and if they still do it!). Have a nice time.

Not at all Claire, you don't hear any noise from the pool or the music playing round it. We have stayed in this area 3 times and will not hesitate to ask for that area in the future

Mandy :)

We stayed in the 50's overlooking the lake and Epcot. It was the top floor (I think 4th) and it was great as there was no one above you running and jumping. Seeing the Epcot fireworks every night was great and the bowling pin pool was almost always quiet. Nothing is really that far away.
Great Resort

We too stayed in the 50s overlooking the lake which I loved for looking out at the wildlife early in the morning and the CM who ran round the paths daily wiping down the benches and sweeping the leaves off the path :)

I know this sounds really daft, but I am kind of hoping for 70s as both DH & I were born in that decade and we thought it would be fun to stay there! :hippie: :hippie: :hippie:

Failing that, the 90s have been highly recommended to me by some of the ladies above ;)

I always used to make room requests but the last few times I have gone with the flow and not made one to avoid disappointment, and ended up with delightful locations :) often ones I would never have chosen before my trip.

I think i'm going to go with the 50s this time, thanks everyone for letting me know what you thought.

Does anyone know what are the preferred rooms at the Pop...I have been happy with both of our locations. The first was in the 50's and recently it was the 70's just behind Mickey with his telephone on the ground floor....thought it was brill....
