Which if the 3 hotels is best?

loews does not own the hard rock hotel or the hard rock cafe.

for hrc:

Hard Rock Cafe is a chain of theme restaurants founded in 1971 by Americans Peter Morton & Isaac Tigrett. In 1979, the cafe began covering its walls with rock and roll memorabilia, a tradition which expanded to others in the chain. In 2006, Hard Rock was sold to the Seminole tribe of Florida, and is headquartered in Orlando, Florida. The largest Hard Rock is in Orlando. Currently, there are 150 Hard Rock locations in 53 countries.

for hrh:

On December 7, 2006, Rank sold its Hard Rock business to the Seminole Tribe of Florida for US$965 million. Included in the deal were 124 Hard Rock Cafes, four Hard Rock Hotels, two Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hotels, two Hard Rock Live! concert venues, and stakes in three unbranded hotels. Rank kept the Hard Rock Casino in London, but has changed its name to G Casino Piccadilly. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas was also not part of the deal, as it was sold by Peter Morton to Morgans Hotel Group in May 2006.

I still think they have a deal with Loew's and Universal to advertise on the sites. But as Mac said it's owned by Seminole Tribe. I believe it was around the same time after Hard Rock and Casino was built right by me in S Florida.

Anyways, I think RPR is the best.

yes, since it is universal property, all the hotels are cited as "Universal Hotels"

but when you go to the Loews site, it states only the PBH and RPH as Loews properties.

Peeps are used to it being all in the LOEW's corporation from 5 years ago.
the LOEW's hotels have their own reward type of program, youfirst.
Hard Rock has the All Access program.

i'm members of both.

the only time it becomes a problem is when a person books rooms and doesn't understand why their Loews YouFirst cards aren't given room credit in the program.
and why they don't have the same access to things offered at the other two hotels.

All Access cards can allow free upgrades only at HRH.
Loews youfirst can allow free upgrades after they reach the middle level in that program.
and, you are not at blue level on loews YF until after two separate stays.

they all were built as universal hotels on property.
just because one chain was sold, it still is considered a hotel on universal property for advertising.

Just wanted to add my vote for Royal Pacific Resort! We have stayed at Portofino and really liked it (that bathroom is amazing) but something about RPR just felt right for us. It's super relaxing and really immersive! It's hard to believe that there's a theme park right around the corner! We were actually sad to leave RPR to check into our disney resort for the rest of our trip.

You're all right... and you're all wrong. You can't sell something you don't own, so when Seminole bought Hard Rock they didn't buy the parts that Loews owned. Here's the real deal, straight from the Universal press department (this is the standard language they put on the bottom of their press releases):

As part of a joint venture with Universal Parks and Resorts and Seminole Hard Rock Entertainment, Loews Hotels co-owns and manages three distinctively themed on-site hotels located at Universal Orlando Resort. Loews Portofino Bay Hotel is a re-creation of the famed Mediterranean seaside village of Portofino, Italy and offers the utmost in European style and elegance. Loews Royal Pacific Resort transports guests to the tropical enchantment of the South Pacific with a serene orchid garden, sparkling waterfalls and exquisite wood carvings. Hard Rock Hotel features a sweeping California mission-style façade, a palm-lined swimming pool and authentic rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia. All three properties are AAA Four Diamond-rated resorts.

Here's an example of a press release with this statement.
