Which hotels have ducks in pool

Sure, nature is gross. Don't swim if you don't want exposure to animal waste-products (including human animals.)

Nature is not gross....It's NATURAL...hence the name.

I can't believe how many "ewww...yuckies" i'm seeing on this thread. and not just from places like Idiot NJ where i live - all over.

seriously...have we become this weak and silly?

Sorry, the tone of my post apparently didn't come through- I was being sarcastic, and agree 100% that there's no reason to avoid a pool because ducks are swimming in it. Seriously, even if the birds didn't swim in the pool, do people think birds flying over don't "bomb" the pools, too?

..."nature is gross" is actually a running joke in our family, something we say whenever we see any sort of silliness about bugs/fish/birds/animals -- it's a quote from a silly character in a cartoon my daughter loved as a kid. Can't even remember which one -- but I think it was the obnoxious Elmyra Duff from Tiny Toons Adventures? Anyway, it's meant to be silly and a bit sarcastic, not actually judging natural activities as gross.

And personally, not weak & silly at all...we actually live on a sand-pit lake which is chock-full of "gross" nature, both in and on it. We have all the seasonal waterfowl (have a river out the front door, too, so we even get the migrating herons & cranes) We enjoy our lake... swimming in it, fishing & boating on it. Nature actually does a pretty good job of setting up an ecosystem to clean up after itself, between the sand acting as a filter, & various small beasties & microbes in the water gobbling up things...the lake water is tested often, and is good even with all the wild-life living there.

I would guess the Disney pool filters & chemicals actually do a good enough job taking out the undesirables.

I would much rather have a live duck in my pool then some of the dead things I have "fished" out of our pool. Once an armadillo:scared1:

Be more afraid of baby poo/diapers and let's not forgt the gators in pools. WDW has a staff of 50 that just goes around the properties and removes them from places they shouldn't be.

I think I've seen them in just about all the pools where I've stayed ... POP, ASMu, ASSp, FW, etc.

They have to have good filtering systems, so I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you have a compromised immune system.
