hi all
After a fantastic trip last March , we have decided to go back to Disney(Feb). We stayed in the centre of Paris last time, and this time have decided to stay in the resort. Could anyone recommend which hotel we should pick? the Santa Fe or the Cheyenne . We had a little walk around both the last time, and thought both looked great ,but we did not manage a look inside. The forum made our trip a lot easier last time, so i look forward to your replies
thank you

Usually, its the outside theming of the hotel that seems to put people off the Santa Fe in comparison to the Cheyenne.

If you like the look of both, then I'd say either, as the rooms inside them both are very similar. In the Cheyenne most of the rooms have one double bed and one set of bunks, and in the Santa Fe most rooms have 2 double beds in.

I can vouch for the comfort of the Santa Fe beds - so comfy you're asleep almost as soon as your head hits the pillow :goodvibes .

Hi there

Everytime we have been we have always stayed that the Cheyenne. We love it there the theming is great and you really feel like you are in the middle of a wild west film yo can almost imagine the tumbleweed blowing across the streets. The bedrooms are really nicely themed the very cosy. I have looked around the Santa Fe and have to say i did prefer the Cheyenne.

Hope this helps

We have been there from Sunday Sept 16th to Thursday Sept 20th and we stayed at Cheyenne, plus i had been there twice in the past (1996 and 1999).

The theming is great, and it's just ten minutes walk to the Disney Village.
I can tell the rooms are not very big for four adults, the bunk beds are ok (my two sons 21 and 14 and not skinny slept there quite well) the double bed was not double but just one and a half but the biggest problem was the quilt, not big enough for two if you are cold lol

The bathroom was pretty big with a nice bath and a wide mirror on the wall.
I missed my beloved bidet (or bum bath as Brian calls it) but i knew i was not going to find it there lol

I would love to try one of the higher category Hotels but the price always put me off :scared:

I've stayed at both and I'd have to say Cheyenne, having said that there's nothing wrong with the SF, just personal preference. :)

thanks all ,
we have opted for the cheyenne and just booked 3nts in feb next year, it seems perfect for our budget, and the theme of the hotel looks great.
thanks again :
