Which hotel would you choose?

July 2026. Me, DH and DD20. I refuse to stay on-site now that they have eliminated EE. It’s been a while since we’ve stayed off-site.

Park Vue Inn - $1,500
4 nights - Triple Queen Room (3 queen beds, 1 bathroom)
Pros: Everyone gets a queen bed. Can stay for 4 nights. Closest walk to parks.
Cons: Only 1 small bathroom.

Fairfield Inn - $2,400
3 nights - 2 rooms (1 king each room - guaranteed connecting rooms)
Pros: DD20 gets her own bedroom and bathroom.
Cons: Walk to parks is so-so.

Courtyard Marriott Theme Park Entrance - $2,700
3 nights - Double Bunk, 1 King Suite (4 bunk beds, 1 king, 1 bathroom with 2 showers)
Pros: Nice bathroom layout. Higher quality hotel.
Cons: Will bunk bed be too small for DD20 for 4 nights? Walk to parks is so-so.

Residence Inn Anaheim Convention Center - $2,900
3 nights - 2 Bedroom Executive Suite (1 king, 2 queens, 2 bathrooms)
Pros: DD20 gets her own bedroom and bathroom. Free breakfast. Higher quality hotel.
Cons: Furthest walk to parks.


I’m leaning towards the Park Vue Inn since we can stay for 4 nights for less money than 3 nights elsewhere. And they have recently refreshed their rooms. I’ve always wanted to stay “at the crosswalk” but have never done it.

We have stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Residence Inn before. I thought the walk from the Residence Inn was too far, although that suite would be the nicest and most comfortable for all of us.

I appreciate any thoughts!

How much time are you going to be spending in your hotel room? Unless the answer is "a lot" then PVI is the no-brainer answer here.

The Courtyard is more for younger kids and any adult would have to sleep on the top bunk unless they want CTE from hitting the head in the bottom bunk.

I’d personally pick the Fairfield

The two bathrooms are SO good with parents/kids, ESPECIALLY that she’s 20 yrs old

And proximity wins every time for me

But you wouldn't opt for the proximity of the Park Vue over the better room layout available at the Fairfield?

Park Vue hands down. $900+ can buy a lot of Churros.

Thanks everyone! I think I have eliminated the Residence Inn because it is too far of a walk and the Courtyard because the bunk bed would probably not be comfortable for our DD20.

It's down to the Fairfield Inn and the Park Vue Inn. I will ask our daughter if she prefers an extra night and a shorter walk or her own bathroom!

I didn’t initially see that an extra night is gained with the park Vue … that sways me

But the bathroom deal is a big deal. And the married couple don’t need separate beds unless of course that’s how they do it at home…they can just not use one too of course…

Fairfield for 4 nights is my pick! Lol

My DH and I share a king bed at home. But NO WAY would we ever share a queen bed!

Did you look into the Tropicana or Camelot?

The Camelot has a family suite.
Separate bedrooms with lots of beds and a pull out couch but one bathroom

The Tropicana has a couple different suite options, I’ve stayed in the Park view suite: a bedroom with a bathroom with a shower and its own balcony with Matterhorn/firework views, and a living room with a pull out sofa* and a bathroom with a larger vanity and a shower/tun combo and its own balcony with the same views


* I found this to be too hard, so when we are in this same room in a couple weeks I’m having a mattress topper delivered for the kids
