Which grocery delivery service to use??

I thought about using Safeway but I think you have to meet them if you order beer or wine. I like being able to send Garden Grocer a copy of my license beforehand and having them leave it with Bell services.

Yes, they started doing that after having an issue with an underage guest who ordered beer or wine, so he did take my ID and copy it down. I had ordered a little white wine and a six pack of beer. Glad I had planned on being in the room! For the cost, and being that I wanted the delivery the first evening (knowing we'd be super tired and back in the room), I still plan on using them again!

Another Vote for Garden Grocer!! We have been very happy with Garden Grocer for our last 4 trips, and while it is a bit more, it's well worth it for basic necessities: water, milk, beer and wine and few small items. I grocery shop enough at home -- I AM NOT renting a car/uber and shopping on vacation! And while we didn't have any huge problems with We Go Shop (they forgot my husband's high-octane beer a few years ago and bought it a few hours later) I just felt their was a strange vibe and after that order, I tried Garden Grocer and switched for future orders.

We're using Safeway, which I've used at home as well. I compared the prices on a number of items and there wasn't a single item where Garden Grocer was less expensive. On some things, like bread, the Garden Grocer price was double the Safeway price. And some of Safeway's 4 hour delivery windows come with a $6 discount on delivery, which made the delivery cost only $9.

I ordered a bunch of stuff that gave me free delivery with Safeway, so got the 1 hour window.

I've used them twice at home since getting back! Did the same thing - always get free delivery.

Quick question about Safeway...how do you order? I have an online account for my local Safeway, but how do I order for Disney? Do I change my store to a specific one in Orlando? Do they automatically have beer/wine options if you chose that store or do I need to call? I'm considering using Safeway during my August trip because of the cost difference, but the little exploring I did about how to order was confusing...and GG is really easy (I don't even have to send my driver's license every year, as they have my info on file for ordering adult beverages).

Look on the sticky for your resort address. Use that one to register (you can alway change it - I order from home here in Maryland as well so just change it). I've also used them at least 3 times on vacation in Arizona too, so it's easy to change the address.

Then just start shopping! There are always deals with buy 5 of some list and get free delivery. I find that I almost always need things from that list, so then choose the 1 hour delivery for free.

They are wonderful. And, if you get beer or wine in Florida, choose a time where you will be in the room. They will need your ID.

We used dizzy dolphin last trip. Service was great communication was great and they added a thank you card with some goodies to our order. It was a nice surprise.

I was very happy with Safeway! I am now using them more at home, as I'm so busy! Love the one hour window (they're always there at the beginning of the hour).

I used GG for the first time in November because my parents were coming with us and are particular about needing specific items (Pepsi, Poland Spring). I was shocked at how expensive everything was and would not use them again. If we had needed a lot of things it would have been better, but we only needed like 3 things (that were ridiculously overpriced) and then had to add other things just to meet the minimum. We usually just pack mini muffins, granola bars, trail mix, english muffins/peanut butter etc. in our suitcase and then grab a case of water at the resort, which for us works just fine. If I take people again that require specific items I will definitely try other options.
