Which grand gathering food experience would you choose?

I'm organizing a family grandgathering in December for my family, my brother's family and my parents. We are all doing the Dining Plan.

I'm looking at some of the food grand gathering experiences available to us but I'm unable to find much information on them. Specifically I'm looking to see what kind of menu they offer and what characters might be present. I've checked another site that offers menus but I can't find a menu for Odyssey or Tony's Breakfast. I can only assume that the Tusker House dinner would be the same. Can anybody help here?

International Dinner and IllumiNations Dessert Reception-Epcot: 2TS
Served buffet style, this International dinner features the cuisine from five different nations.

While enjoying your meal, storytelling and live musical entertainment is provided. This event features some of your favorite Disney Characters who join the guests on the dance floor.


Safari Celebration Dinner-Animal Kingdom 2 TS
You'll meet your guide in Disney's Animal Kingdom's Asia section and be taken on your tour.

Following your Safari is dinner in the Tusker House Restaurant. Featuring African inspired cuisine, your all you care to eat dinner is served family style.

While enjoying your meal, Disney Characters will be available for photos and fun. As an added treat, you'll get an up close look at a few of Animal Kingdom's exotic species.

Good Morning Character Breakfast-Magic Kingdom 2 TS
Here Tony invites you to enjoy a delicious all you care to eat breakfast. Mickey and Friends are there for treasured photos and fun interaction.

Tony will be happy to note special occasions. Guests celebrating anniversaries will be serenaded with "Bella Notte," the classic song from Disney's Lady & the Tramp. Following this memorable start to your day, you'll have preferred entry to "Mickey's PhilharMagic."

Just as a side note. We have a Grand Gathering planned for October and I chose the Good Morning Character breakfast. It is only 1 TS

We have done the Safari Celebration once and the Good Morning Breakfast twice. We really prefer the Good Morning Breakfast. Aside from the obvious benefit that it is only 1 TS credit, it is a lot of fun. The food is good, Tony is very entertaining, and you get a lot of time with the characters. We were able to get a great pic of all 40+ of us with Mickey.

The Safari Celebration was neat, but I was underimpressed with the safari experience. It really wasn't much better than the regular ride experience. The food was good, but some of it was a little strange.
