Which gate to line up?

Hi, uber planner here if I get to bag check really early, how do I know which gate to start queuing at? Will CM be there that early? Do I just pick any and eventually a CM will come to the queue? Same for EMH/ MM

What happens to a queue, if the gate doesn't open, do you then have to go to the back of another line or merge?

When possible check with the CM's behind the turnstiles which gates will be open. It usually is not too hard to figure out.
