Which FW loops for Christmas decorations?

Is the fort, specifallt the campsites and cabins still pretty decorated after Xmas through the NYE holiday? We would arrive around the 28tb through January 2nd. Do they still do the sleigh rides also?

Absolutely! Three years ago I arrived on January 9th for a 2 week stay and sites at the Fort was fully decorated for almost the entire stay. Decorations in the parks come down very quickly starting on Monday after the RunDisney events.

Not sure about the sleigh rides.

Specifically for the campsites and cabins, generally yes, they are still decorated into Jan 1. Once you get past the weekend (whenever it is) that follows Jan 1, the campsites tend to empty out of decorations (IMO). By Sunday Jan 4 most of the campers will have left with their Xmas decorations.

However, as @Teamubr says, the parks are still in their Christmas decorations thru the Disney Marathon Weekend (which has its last race, the full 26.2 mile marathon, on Sunday Jan 11, 2026).

But I did a recent Marathon weekend full marathon (on a Sunday) and let me tell you - we went to MK on Monday (the next day) and ALL the Xmas decorations at MK had been taken down overnight. The Jingle Cruise (from Sunday) was now the Jungle Cruise again.

Bottom line is for your dates listed, you should be good to see FW decorations, campsite/cabin decorations, and theme park decorations.

PS - the Fort Xmas decorations get taken down some time after New Years (no set schedule) and in not all in one night. But a big chunk is taken down the first night (whenever that is) and any stragglers the next. So if the Fort is decorated with wreathes and lights and such at night, take advantage of it, get pictures, see the sights. Because it could be gone when you wake up the next morning.

Thank you for the thoughtful reply!

We haven't been there for Halloween or Christmas, but I have seen the storm trooper guy. Just amazing! We left the fort this morning heading back North. We were in the 1200 loop and this was across the road from us. I would expect there will be restrictions to get into the fort. Parking is very limited during holidays. You can take a bus or boat to the fort, then a bus to the loops, but expect to walk. I don't think they let you in just to drive around. The overflow lot was full, and they had about 30 cars/trucks parked on the grass near the hook/unhook area. Golf carts were constant through our loop until after 10:00pm at night.
