Which FP+ to book first?

I have a "which FP+ to book first" question. I wonder if I should book my FP+ based on the chronological order or the popularity of the rides......

Here is the scenario:

Travel time: second week of August
Plan: planning to do MK in two different days--
-- on a Sunday night (after 5pm) and take rides in/around the Frontierland (i.e. Splash, BTMR, Jungle Cruise, etc)
-- on the following Wed, arriving around 930am and hit the Fantasyland first. (cannot do rope drop due to children's sleep habit)

QUESTION: Which FP+ should I try to book at first on my 60 days window?? the Splash Mt. BTMR scheduled to ride on Sunday or 7DMT & Peter Pans scheduled to ride on the following Wednesday.

SDMT will be the hardest to get. You should go with that first. I don't think you will have any problem getting the ones you want in Frontierland.

I agree. Begin with Wednesday's booking of 7DMT, confirm and then book PP.

I agree with the PPs, 7DMT then PP.

Last I read, BTMR will be closed beginning August 8th for refurb.

What you could do is book 7DMT and PP then switch to Sunday for BTMRR. You can return at any time to finish booking for Wednesday's 3rd FP. You no longer have to book 3 FPs all at once.

Thank you Hiro.. Also, with the new FP+ system, is it true that each FP does not need to be at least 1 hour apart??

The system only shows shorter return windows for rides scheduled during the last hour of park opening at MK. Shows do have shorter return windows.
