Going in December and out FP+ selection day is fast approaching.

What would you pick when you are NOT going to ride anything with a height restriction over 35."

Day 1- For MK (opening - 5pm)
Day 2- For Epcot (opening - noon)
Day 3- For MK after (4pm - 8pm)
Day 4- For AK (opening -noon) or Epcot (2pm - 4pm)

Thanks!

Height restriction over 35"? Meaning you are only going on rides dwarfs are allowed on? There aren't many of those. Even 7 Dwarfs Mine Train. They prohibit dwarfs (those UNDER 35"). That's pretty ironic considering it's the dwarfs mine train.

No... I have a kid that can't ride rides with a 35" or higher height restriction. Trying to maximize FP choices since we won't be trying for any ride with that restriction...

I don't think she got it. I thought it was cute.

What I normally do is go on MDE and look at wait times and see which are the longest and try to get fp for those rides.

I always try to go for the first times of the day so I can get a 4th one

MK- Peter Pan, Jungle Cruise and BUZZ. All after lunch.
EPCOT-Living with the Land, Figment and Mexico Boat Ride.
MK-Pirates, Goofini and Astro Orbiter. Do Astro Orbiter at night. The lights are awesome.
AK- Kilo Safari (First Thing. Animals are out in the morning), Bugs Life and Triceratop Spin.

When are you traveling, and what is most important to your family, rides, shows, parades or characters?? Personal preference is going to be a big deciding factor. Do you have princess fans, or do you have boys? That would change the answer for me.

I don't think they even offer FP+ for Astro Orbiter, Triceratop Spin or the Mexico Boat ride.

I do agree with Living With the Land and in EP if you are avoiding everything with height restrictions. I might also consider Ilumniations instead.
There's a FP+ for character meet and greets that might save you a lot of time if you have a child who is a huge fan of those.

At AK, I'd go for the Safari, then at least one of the shows, and either It's Tough to be a Bug or the characters.

At MK, for a family with little one's Anna and Elsa's meet and greet, or the meet and greets with other characters might become a big priority for your family (they aren't for mine, so I don't know too much about them, but I do know that Anna & Elsa seems to be the single most coveted FP+ in the MK). You might also consider FP+ for one of the parades if you don't want to grab a spot way ahead of time. As far as the rides go, my personal priority for rides without height restrictions at would be Peter Pan, Pirates, Buzz and Jungle Cruise. For little ones and very busy park weeks like Christmas, I might add Winnie the Pooh or Tomorrowland Speedway in there as well. Peter Pan and Jungle Cruise always seem to have the longest lines for the rides that appeal most to the little ones and their family. The line at the Speedway seems to get pretty long, too, and it has always been a priority for my son, much to my chagrin.

correct, correct, and correct.

The only one that would need it is Astro Orbiter because the line for that is ridiculous (way longer than that ride deserves). I think they didn't have the space to set up a second line

I have a boy and a girl. To please them both, I would do:

Day 1: Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Enchanted Tales.
Day 2: Living with the Land, Turtle Talk with Crush, The Seas w/Nemo
Day 3: Pirates of the Carribean, Jungle Cruise, and a M&G with either Tink or the princesses
Day 4: Kiliminjaro Safari, Finding Nemo musical, M&G with Mickey & Minnie

I do all my FP between 10-1 and hope to get more afterwards.

Thanks @Ryansdad0727 and @scrapquitler!

@scrapquitler, Family of 3 (DW, DD2, me) going in mid December. 3 of us went in April with my Mom and Grandparents and rider swap made us feel we were ignoring the things our DD could do. She loved Mickey and Sofia in April.. but was terrified of Chuck E Cheese last week...

She loved the boat rides (Small World, PoC, Living with the Land, and 3 Caballero in Mexico.. she also seemed interested in the continous loading rides Pan, Little Mermaid, Spaceship Earth, and Magic Carpets.) We still plan on doing all of them, but just trying to figure out which ones are worth getting FPs.

We're also not soley rider people. We like a good show. We missed the parade in April so are making this trip a priority to see it.

We're dropping Haunted Mansion from our options. She was a little freaked out last time.

I'm terrified of Chuck E Cheese, too. He's not anywhere near as appealing or approachable as the Disney characters.

Given what you say, for MK I'd go with Jungle Cruise, A parade and a Meet and Greet one day, and then Peter Pan, another meet and greet and Pirates.

Then for EP, I'd maybe go for Living with the Land, Nemo and Spaceship Earth or a Meet and Greet.

At Animal Kingdom I'd go for one of the shows (Nemo or Lion King), the Safari and either Bugs Life or another show.

Perfect! we think we got it down now. Thanks again @scrapquitler
