which flight dilemma - help please

No, it is going to be nearly empty, apart from me, Dtr and my 2 sisters (oh, I wish!)

If only that were true!

;) I'm still dithering a bit, but swaying now more to the early Liverpool flight. What I could do, if I just don't manage to get any kip on the Saturday during the day, is spend the night at my sister's house, which is just over an hour from Liverpool. That way, I'll still be getting up at my normalish early time for DLRP flights, and I won't have so far to drive.

I'm also thinking, if we do that, and the parks are heaving when we get there on the Sunday, I could do stuff like the 4pm characters at the DLH, and just head into the parks for the parades that day. I'm not intending taking time out to check in to our hotel until after 8pm, as we're staying at the Etap just for that night. But then again, I might do that early afternoon, so we can stay in the parks and watch Fantillusion at the end of the park day.

Sounds like a great plan Elaine, sounds like what we are going to do on the Sunday when we go...prob too busy to even attempt anything else.

As someone who does a lot of travelling I would go with the advice of getting a room over night before hand. I always do this, then can get a good nights sleep, breakfast and know that I will not be caught up in traffic (which IS a possibility as this happened to us, and we were 40 mins away form the airport. Traffic = missed flights!)

Go with the early flight, get a good nights rest and your holiday will be extended by that extra stop over! And of course, those all important hours in the park :woohoo:

 Best laid plans and all that ....

Just booked my flights - from Luton, in the afternoon. The Liverpool flights, for some reason, had jumped up a bit in price today, but the Luton flights were still the same as I'd been checking at the weekend. So the Luton flights definitely come out a fair bit cheaper, and I can console myself that its a bit closer to get to from home, and I don't have to get up at eeek o'clock on Sunday morning ;). I will still get some park time on Sunday evening - you just watch me :banana:!!!

Glad to hear you're all booked :thumbsup2

As I said earlier in the thread I really do enjoy arriving in the evening, getting settled, maybe a quick walk around the lake, we did that when we arrived at gone midnight in March 07, just to get the feel of being there.

After a good nights sleep, you'll be ready to hit the parks for EMH. :)
