Depends on if you're open to using Single Rider or not. Or if you've been on either before. I personally prefer MFSR but only because I have a huge bias towards Star Wars.

If you enjoy Star Wars and more immersive experiences, I would go Smuggler's Run. If you aren't into Star Wars, I would do SDD - it's a better ride, IMHO.

Same. I like SDD ok, but it’s kind of on level with 7DMT as far as coasters, and we prefer 7DMT. Don’t get me wrong, I’d always choose to ride everything if possible, but not getting to ride SDD is not going to make or break my trip. And I know people mention the single rider line on MFSR, but we are big Star Wars fans, so we want to experience it together and get off the ride talking about the high points.

If you are a Star Wars fan I would go with Smuggler's! I loved it and I'm not a big fan of SW. My husband and I were pilots. We did horrible but laughed the entire time.

it’s easier and quicker to rope drop stinky so smugglers run may be the better choice

FP one and ropedrop the other is a method to do both the same day without crazy lines.

Depends on who’s riding and their preferences. I’d FP one and rope drop the other. My kids loved Slinky last year and it’s at the top of their wish list for our March trip — plus we’re traveling with my dad who gets motion sick on Star Tours so I don’t think MFSR is for him— so for our crew a SDD FP makes the most sense. And those that want to ride MFSR will just rope drop.

Smuggler's for a few reasons. It's newer, it's more fun, and now that they'd added FP the standby wait (usually 30-60 minutes) is going to get significantly longer.

For everyone saying rope drop, have you taken in consideration that everyone is having to be at HS at opening now if they want to ride Rose if the Resistance? I keep seeing multiple people mention there’s no rope drop advantage in HS now because it’s crowded the minute it opens and the lines fill up in the first few minutes.

Do people who are at HS rope drop (to get Rise boarding groups) tend all to go to Slinky Dog once they've got their groups, or Galaxy's Edge (for Smuggler's Run)?

About 45/45, with the rest heading to RNR or ToT in my experience. But with the new tier set up, that will totally change since those will be tier2, as will TSM.
