We fly out tomorrow morning!!!! I'm trying to finalize our itinerary, and need some help. Which Fantasmic show would you recommend going to - the early or late one??? TIA!

As long as the length of the day is not an issue, I would plan for the late show. The first show is typically more crowded, and you can either eat or take in a couple more attractions while the first show is going on. I think it is easier to get a decent seat for the later show without waiting so long.

Have fun - I am jealous. I have to wait another 50 days until our trip!

I'm confused! :confused3

There are two Fantasmic shows? What times? The only one listed in my notes is at 8:30. We are hoping to see it the first week of April!

Always go to the last showing of the night of Fantasmic! It will be much less crowded.

I think there is only one show the first week or April but the week before Easter and the week after they offer 2 times because of the huge crowds.

To the OP, I've always heard the later show is less crowded so I would vote for the later one. :thumbsup2

As everyone said, the second show is nearly always less crowded.
But there is a difference in how the Fantasmic! theater is "filled" for the second show.
After the first show lets out, and the HUGE crowd ambles out, the CM's must finish cleaning the theater seating areas.
This takes some time, so earlier-arriving guests waiting for the second show will be held "in-line" (standing as a group) just outside the theater as the cleaning is completed.

This GROUP will be let in (a "rope-drop") at, maybe, about 40 minutes before the scheduled show-time.

So with the second show, there is not the same "get there an hour early and sit and wait" situation as the first show.
I'm still saying GO EARLY... just don't expect to be "let in" quite as early.
