I don't think people can survive without the use of "surprise" expressions. I try to stay away from any use of taking the Lord's name in vain, but whatever is left seems very "old lady-ish."
What else is there? My word, Good gravy, Oh my glory... my grandmother says those. I tend to say "oh my gosh" or "oh my goodness" when I'm surprised. I also say Holy Moly and Holy Crow. I know, I'm SUCH a dork.
What do you say?

That cracks me up.
I'm in O.P. I just waved at you out my window. I used to live in Hamburg, and I do all of my grocery shopping there.
