Which exit off of I4 for Pop Century?

We've been to Disney tons of times and I know my way around the WDW area very well, but this will be our first time staying at Pop Century and I just realized that I don't know how exactly to get there. I am sure I can find it, but if I can eliminate extra driving around, that'd be great. :D

So which exit is the best one to get off at? We are coming from the Tampa area (so we are heading east on I4).

Thanks! :flower:

be careful, they really need to put more signs out for it...last time we went, we ended up way back in Fort Wilderness??? Don't ask me how that happened...lol. :D

Just be aware that I-4 and the 192 interchange is under construction. Expect delays.

Thank you all very much! We are allowing plenty of time to get over there to account for the construction, etc. that is always going on on I4.

Hi, I have found that the easiest way to get to Pop Century is to take the The Animal Kingdom Exit off I-4 exit 65 Osceola Parkway West go to the first traffic light (Victory Way) take a right. Pop century is located on the right you can see Pop century from Osceola Parkway. (this way is the most direct and you don't have to get involved with 192 traffic)

Note: Disney's Wide World of Sports is also located at the first traffic light only on the left hand side.

From WDW site:
Exit 65:
Attractions: Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex, Disney's Blizzard Beach

Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort Area: Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, Disney's All-Star Music Resort, Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course

Magicinmyheart,

Thanks so much! :) I just put your directions into my Pocket PC.

According to Birnbaums, take Exit 64 marked "192/Magic Kingdom" to get Pop Century.
I used to love Birnbaum, back when I was a tourist. Now that I work for Disney, I notice tons of errors and things wrong with his book... :(

At any rate, MAGICinMYHEART is correct. The easiest and best way is 65, the Osceola Parkway exit. Pop is less than 5 minutes from the exit.

Another quick trip for driving around-if your staying at POP, and don't see it on the exit signs, look for signs directing to Wide World of Sports. POP is right across the street. Saw WWS on a lot more signs than POP. Exit 65 is the best and easiest exit.

TYLER- Quick question for you, was it just me or what ? When I was trying to get somewhere in the world it felt like the signs were directing me in one big circle instead of the direct route to where I was trying to go?

Although it might appear as such, the signs will direct you towards the best route. (ie, avoiding stop lights, traffic, etc.) They may not be the shortest distance, but they will be the best timewise.

Thanks for the quick answer at 1:30 in the morning!! It's funny, last night someone posted at 2:01am and at 2:10am it had over a 100 viewings. Glad to know that I'm not the only nut up at this hour talking about Disney LOL
