We are on the deluxe dining plan in July and need a restaurant to eat at on our Epcot night... We would like to eat at a place we haven't eaten before. Seeing illuminations is not so important but it certainly would be nice to see them through a window or from a patio just for ambiance...
We can't decide between:
La Hacienda
Tokyo Dining
Captain's Grille
Chef's de France
or Captain's Grille (next door at the Yacht Club)

Give me the good, bad and your best suggestion...

I don't think you can see IllumiNations from Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club.

I've eaten at Chefs de France and enjoyed it. I liked the onion soup, braised short ribs, and profiteroiles. We've had very nice servers in the past. However, I don't think many of the tables will have much of a view of IllumiNations.

We haven't eaten at hacienda and actually i was asking about it on here earlier.
I do really like Tokyo dining, but i have heard their sushi has gone downhill since it ipened when i was first there.
Chefs is usually a good meal
Never eaten at captains grille

Yeah, I am pretty sure you can't see them from Captain's Grille but it is close enough to go back if we want to... Just looking for the best overall experience and if it offers us the chance to see Illuminations... even better. Otherwise we just step outside after dinner to watch.

Out of the ones listed I've eaten at all except La Hacienda. So I'd pick Captains Grille first, Chefs next.

Thank you for the responses! All of the menus look good...I am finding this decision to be difficult to make!
