Which entertainment book?

The 2011 Entertainment book is on sale for 9.99 until July 4th. We will be primarily in the DL resort area (7/26-8/2), but also will rent a car and go to Legoland one day and maybe sightsee in LA along the way. Our hotel/flight/DL tickets are already pre-paid so don't need those.

Which entertainment book would be best? Orange County? LA? I haven't had a Entertainment book in years so I can't remember how specific the locations are. We primarily need it for restaurants; not sure if there might be car rental coupons. Are there any disney coupons? Is it even worth it to get at all? Are there any coupons that can be used at home (no specific location listed)?

Thanks for any advice. :yay:

Can you get one for your area? That way you can use the coupons all year, just not on vacation. In order to use the card, you don't have to an entertainment book for that area.

In the past, there haven't been any very useful coupons for the DLR area, unless you have a car and are willing to away from the area. It could have changed, but that has been traditional.

There used to be travel coupons for fun places like Universal (and those were in ALL books), but those have dwindled away.

But hey, what do I know? I have a book (for my area) and logged in, looked up the Anaheim area. I see a build a bear coupon at DTD, and just like in my book, coupons for Rainforest Cafe with the DTD location (though if you have Safari Club that discount is better and you can't double-up).

Coco's, GardenWalk movie theater.

Looking at San Diego, I see there's a discount of "Up to 55% off Go San Diego -including admission to SeaWorld." So that's a discount on a discount card. :)

Nothing specifically for Carlsbad, which I believe is the actual city Legoland is in.

Some of the coupons for the DLR area I saw there were in the book only (but the RFC and I *think* the BuildABear, and maybe Wetzels pretzels (not sure I mentioned that) are in my book, and I'm in WA), some were printable (even if you don't have that book).

So for the 9.99 book, do you get the book, a card, AND online discounts? I didn't see that explained on the webiste.

For $10, I think it's probably worth it, but not sure now if I should get the one for my area or OC :confused3 . The examples shown on the website all have specific locations listed. Are there any/many that are good at any location?

The $9.99 or $4.99 price is for the same book, card, and all offers that go with the books. The only difference is the purchasing cost for the book. It is a special offer. And is limited.

So bumping, does anyone know if it is best to buy the OC California book or will be there just as many coupons/discounts if I buy the one for my area (looking at mostly restaurant/fast food coupons)? I want to get the one I'll get the most out of. I guess the unknown for me is the discount card, I've never used one of those so I don't know what that covers.

Anyone?

If you want to go to knotts they have an excellent discount of like 20 dollars per ticket, more then worth the price of the book....also I think 7 dollars offe ach ticket to the zoo.

I'm wondering what the Disneyland discounts are in the entertainment book for the Orange County area. Can't see them on the website and I want to know if it's worth me buying. (I live in Nebraska, but if the savings are over $10 it's worth it!)
