So which one of us got in trouble with the U.S. Marshall's?!?! I wonder if whoever buys it will have to go through Disney ROFR, I assume so...

That's wild. Thanks for posting the link. Can you just imagine the person in the U.S. Marshall's office trying to write up the description? (They did a good job.) I wonder how many people who "shop" these auctions will have a clue what this really is. I think DVC will getting back 300 points at a good price fairly soon.

The legal description does indeed say Disney has an ROFR that it can excercise.

For Festus & Marshall Dillon to be selling it off, it must have been something a little more than making an illegal U-turn.

My home is over at BCV. Looks like we will have to hire border guards to keep that lowly BWV element away from our neighborhood.

I've seen one of these previously and discussed it with a person who pursued it and bid on it. IF I recall correctly, they would have ended up having to pay essentially full price to get it even ignoring the ROFR. So don't expect a bargain one way or another on this type of deal. Plus, it could take months or more for all to clear.

The US marshalls service does not sieze property for traffic tickets.This person must have done something . Remember even though you are at Disney your neighbor may not be a nice person.Many people forget about personal security when at Disney.
Lock your doors,be aware of your property and above all keep an eye on your kids at all times.
Remember if tigger can be arrested any one can.

retired law here, you can be assured this is an asset forfeiture proceeding, that makes it certainly either a wiseguy/rico seizure or likely a drug assets seizure, and those hoping to steal a deal can rest assured that the auction house will do their homework before it drops the gavel
plus be very wary of claims against by lawyers for legal services rendered or a bail bond lien, you better be real sure of the title search on this one
