Which DVC Resort is your favorite?

I'm convinced that every Member secretly believes VWL is the best DVC Resort.
:rotfl: It is a beautiful resort, no doubt........ahhh, if only those rooms and the balcony were larger :flower1:

My favorite is-whatever resort I'm staying in!!! I've been at OKW, VB and HHI and I have LOVED each one. My next two visits are at SSR (home) and I can't wait!!!
My signature has the 3 resorts I've visited and my Home. When I first looked at the DVC materials and saw all the options, the Dr Suess book popped into my head and all I could think of was "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" That phrase really fits DVC for me. All the wonderful places we can go and all the wonderful people we will meet there.

I never realized what a difficult decision it was going to be. As I hear what each of you have said, makes me want to visit them all. I think my husband is swaying towards BWV because he likes the idea of having the entertainment along the BW at night. I was swaying towards VWL because of the proximity to the MK. Tough decision still. I know whichever we choose, it will be a wonderful choice and I will not be disappointed. Thanks for all of the input!!!!

OKW for size and quiet serenity
BCV followed quickly by BWV for location
VWL and SSR don't do much for me :duck:

My favorite is definately my Boardwalk home. We still have to try HH and SSR but have tried all the others. I still love Boardwalk best.

Favorite is VWL, next favorite is whatever one I'm staying in.

My vote is for my home resort, BWV. So far we have stayed at VWL, BCV, and most recently at OKW. I know there are a lot of OKW lovers out there, but honestly, this resort is not for me. Did not like being so far away from everything, having to drive to the main buildings and pool, and there really is no place to "people watch", like there is at BWV. My DD's, age 16 and 20, also were not too crazy about it. Give me the hustle and bustle of the Boardwalk, the great view of the lake and walking distance to Epcot!

depends upon what Disney is doing.

the food/wine festavial or the flower & garden festavial or sometimes during Dec - then either BCV or BWV

MVMCP or MNSSHP - then VWL

other times OKW - love it - very peacefully and you can easily relax here.

SSR is beautiful but like the GF to fancy for my taste.

own at BWV, BCV, & SSR.
have either stayed at or visited all the WDW DVC resorts.
& the top choice of everyone in my family (as well as my for my parents, & DB & his family) is................

BoardWalk Villas!! :cheer2:

there's so much to do, or you can do "nothing" ~ no matter what your decision of the day, it's all right there at your fingertips.
staying at the BWV's feels most like an all-inclusive resort with a 24/7 vacation feel, IMHO
(btw, BCV would be a good pick, except we don't care for the room views, & we DO spend lotsa time on our BWV balconies, looking over the "world").

In order

OKW
BWV
BCV
SSR
VWL

If Orlando is not a part of the equation, HHI goes just after OKW.

OKW is the original, and is always what I think of when I think of DVC. Can't beat the quiet, the close proximity of parking, and the size of the rooms.

BWV/BCV are a toss-up to me, they could just as easily be reversed.

I haven't stayed at SSR yet, but I like the layout of the resort more that VWL. VWL is beautiful, but not my cup of tea for what I am looking for.

I think we are leaning toward BWV because we will be in our room more with our almost 2 year old daughter. One more question for those of you who have been there before. Would you stay in a BW view, preferred view, or standard view room? What is the difference between the preferred and standard? THANKS!!!

We like them all and stay in them all, but our favorite is BWV. We fell in love with the resort when it first opened and have only grown to love it more over the years.
