Which DVC Resort for WDW Golf Trip

I've eaten at Chip & Dale's many times when I'm just staying at SSR and not golfing. Definitely good quality with the most reasonable prices in DW - most sandwiches, wraps, quesadillas, etc with chips AND a beer under $15. And all meats including hot dogs are Boar's Head.

I don’t golf, but we do stay occasionally at SSR. This sounds like a great tip!

If your not going to do the parks I would do SSR and enjoy the area. Also close to DS

I agree playing golf at all the courses is terrific, the staff is always super helpful and friendly. For the best place to stay IMHO it really depends on your preference and what you like to do in your non-golf down time. LBV golf is a country club style course with tight fairways in between the villas and tree houses. As others have mentioned closed to DS and easily accessible to other EPCOT area amenities. So if you plan on spending most of your time at that course then SSR is a great place to stay. But if you are looking to play the 2 championship level course, Palm & Magnolia. I'd stay closer and use VGF or Poly. They are directly across the road and a quick, free, cab ride. The walking path is currently closed due to the roadway construction and the new Island tower going up. The absolute best is SOG, but its a DOD only resort and not DVC.

Just a side note, not sure when you are going, but you should keep in mind the Palm & Magnolia are both under construction. They have made accommodations for it with a few holes that have been redirected and others shortened. But they are not up to full potential yet.

When we are staying at SSR we almost always grab breakfast at Chip & Dales. They only have a couple of breakfast options, but they are solid options. I love their breakfast burrito!
