Anyone know which DVC is the hardest to book at 11 months and 7 months out?

I would guess it would be the one with the lowest number of rooms, or most popular.

Thanks,
Steve

During the summer I would guess it is Hilton Head. During the winter this might be one of the easiest to book.

I would also guess that Beach club would come in next for the summer but Wilderness lodge during christmas

In December this year I've found Boardwalk harder to book then Beach Club. OKW and SSR is usually pretty easy to get into because both resorts are gigantic.

AKV will probably be the hardest to book for the next few years. There is only going to be 135 vacation homes until Kidani Village opens in 2009.

It might also depend on your perspective.

If you are trying to make a reservation or switch one but can't because of availability - THAT is the resort that is the hardest to book - no matter what.:rotfl2:

Hilton Head is very difficult to book. It's small and fills up fast. Plus, there are few studios.

BWV and BCV fill up for Holidays and Epcot special events (Flower & Garden and Food & Wine Festivals).

Some more specific room times, instead of just resorts

Grand Villas at OKW...the rest of the resort is pretty open, but Grand Villas fill fast (so do the ones at BWV and I suspect SSR, though I don't know).

Boardwalk Villas Standard View, followed by Boardwalk View rooms. While you can always get lucky, your chances of booking these rooms is significantly higher before the seven month window opens.

BCV 2Q 2 BRs - a mistake was made building BCV and most of the two bedrooms don't have enough room for two queens in the second bedroom - so instead there is a pullout in there. The ones with two queens go fast - you pretty much need to own there.

VAK conceirge rooms - we could be wrong, but experience tells the DISBoarders who have been watching patterns for years that snowfights in hell happen more often than getting one of these rooms unless you own here (or are renting from an owner willing to call day by day).

We have stayed at HH in the Spring and fall, with not problem booking at 2 months. Last fall (September) we got an upgrade from a studio to 2BR with no additional pts.

I think HHI is really busy during the summer months, when we bought we had our guide check out availability at HH in June(I think we were looking at 6/11-6/12), this was late November (7 month window opended a few weeks earlier) We could have gotten 3 days of our 4 day trip(I think they were Tues-Thurs).

Decided not to make the reservation as we have 2 weeks of Safety Town right after school is out this year. :headache:
