I am trying to choose a Table service restaurant for our trip in Sept. We will be on the dining plan so I am trying to decide between Cap'n Jacks and Planet Hollywood. Please share your experiences.
We tried Wolfgang Puck last Sept. and it was ok but I want to try something different.
Alot of people also give good reviews of Ragland Road but the menu didn't appeal to me.
What to you think?
Thank you.

Between Cptn Jacks & PH, it would have to be Cptn Jack's. PH is way over-priced, with poor service to boot.

Just our humble opinions, but we would choose anywhere in DTD over Cap' N' Jacks. :scared:

I've never tried Cap N' Jacks, but we usually eat Planet Hollywood everytime we go to DTD.
The food always tastes good (it's not wow-your-socks-off-fantastic or anything, but I don't think you should expect it to be), the service is great and the atmosphere is fun. :)
Plus you get a lot of food - so even if it is pricey (as most places on the Disney property are), you get large portions at least.

So like I said I can't compare the two, but my .02cents on Planet Hollywood is that it's pretty okay. :goodvibes

I've eaten at PH and wasn't impressed. Never been to Capn Jacks. Personally, my vote is for Fulton's. I know that wasn't a choice, but they have the best crab cakes and steak I've ever had.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to respond with your personal experience.
Is Fulton's on the dining plan?

No, Fulton's is not on the DP.

The DTD TS places that are on the plan include:
Wolfgang Puck Cafe
Cap' N' Jacks
Planet Hollywood
Raglan Road

Raglan Road we really enjoyed and there was plenty on the menu for fussy me. The Irish music was good fun and we sat next to an Irish family who insisted on singing along.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe is also very nice, the pasta was yummy. It was quite noisy tho and lots of kids about.

Never tried Fulton's as I hate fish of all types and the menu is very limited if that is the case. We were on the DDP and there are 2 excellent counter service places - Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich. Service was quick and good at both. This was just an aside if you fancy a quick meal there. We did WPE on a wet day and the went to the cinema which made a nice change from the parks.

1 final (and not food related) point - don't go disney quest if it's wet. Everyone else had the same idea! Lots of cranky kids waiting for their turn on a machine which lasted all of 2 minutes. We waited about half a hour for Pirates which was good but the queue went down very slowly.

We never trie WGP or Cap n' Jacks but PH was such a hit with my DH and DS that they insisted on going back a second time!
