Which do you prefer Riverside or Carribean Beach?

Definitely CBR...just love the theming.

I much prefer the theming at CBR. The bright colors, proximity of our building to OPR, beachfront, and fireworks view were incredible. POR was well worth the money too, but the CBR theming captured us in a way POR did not.

POR. We recently stayed at CBR and it was very nice, absolutely no complaints whatsoever, we just like the theming at POR better.

Have stayed at both in the last year. Would pick CBR over POR, and we did for our next trip in Sept. Really liked POR, the grounds were beautiful, very well taken care of, had a great room locations, very peaceful and quiet. However, the whole time I was there I wished I was back at POP Century!! We then went to CBR for our next trip, loved the vibrant colors, the music playing, the rooms were bigger and I felt the beds were more comfortable. Never once did I wish I was somewhere else. The resorts are very comparable, I think it is more personal preference on the different themes.

I have never stayed at Caribbean Beach, but I do like Riverside. POFQ is my favorite moderate resort, but POR is very nice too.

CBR. We just returned from an 8 day trip and just love it. We don't stay anywhere else in WDW.

As many have said, I also like both. For me, it would depend on what you are looking for and where you are from. I am from The South, so POR was nothing "new" to me. The landscping is lush and beautiful, but it looked the same as any other antebellum place I've ever visited. At the time I was having a lot of problems with heartburn and I swear it seemed every food at the food court had tomatoes in it.

CBR remains probably our favorite, but it DOES have a lot of walking involved. The rooms are large and very, very quiet If you enjoy hustle and bustel and interacting with other guests or if you ahve kids, it may not be the optimal choice.
