I have been to Alaska and will be visiting Hawaii for the first time in May....can't wait.

There are some cheap places in LV. I like the Golden Nugglet

Prices have gone up a lot this year as more and more people are visiting. The place I normally stay and it is usually reasonable would hit us hard for the price. YIKES! I am looking to stay around the strip.

the strip does cost more......go to the Fremont district and it would be a lot less.
When are you looking at going? Weekends are definitely more

It might be June or July, I will know more after this weekend. The couple has gone up there to find a chapel and what not. I hate giving up where we stay. I am not fond of Freemont st. It could all depend on the doggie babysitter. If he can't babysit we have to take her, which I am fine with that. We have a regular hotel for that as well and the we can get the travel agent rate there. The MGM has now started charging for parking. They are learning how to nickel and diming. lol

I love the Fremont District. I like the older casinos and the closeness of everything. Then we take the Deuce to do the strip.

The last time we were there , there was a closed casino and they had redone it. I can't remember the name. But I love taking the Deuce. I don't gamble but I love taking my camera and go off and just shoot everything new. I would love to see the new wheel.

I don't gamble either.....we did all the free things one trip. Lots of fun. They are always redoing casinos. There are always new ones when we go that just seemed to pop up.
I like to go to all the casinos and look at the insides too.
I think I need to go back sometime soon.
