Which do you prefer - - DCL bus or Limo

The bus is the easiest with kids, because you do not need to worry about car seats. We have taken the bus all four times and have been very satisfied with it. Especially when it is just my wife and I, I cannot justify the additional cost when the bus works so well.

We used the DCL bus for the trip to the boat. Very easy, you are met as you come past the security point at MCO, you don't even have to go pick up your luggage. Make sure you put the special baggage tags on your luggage. We forgot, and a CM took them with a description of out luggage and took care of it.
Ditto! :teeth:

Here is how I choose my transportation to the port:

If there are only two of us:
From the airport to port, we use the DCL bus.
From Disney World to the port, we use a towncar service.

For three or more people, it's worth it to use the towncar/limo service for all the perks.

We have had good experiences with DCL bus service. The only drawback for us, is that the buses from the resorts to port, do not leave until around 11:30 am - 12:30 pm, and we like to arrive at the port earlier.

On our recent trip, we used Southern Elegance from the airport to WDW and from WDW to the port. We had very good experiences with them (Leonard is great!) and plan to use them again for our upcoming trip from airport to Cocoa Beach hotel, where we will stay prior to the cruise. We plan on using the DCL bus from port to airport this March, since it's only two of us, and it's really very easy and sort of fun, if you have a nice driver. We used the DCL bus from port to airport this past trip and had an excellent experience with our driver, Bruce. This guy is tops! :smooth:

Hope this helps,
Tink

Have you priced the town car option? I found that with four or more people a town car was noticeably cheaper than the DCL bus. We wound up with six people on our recent cruise, and decided to splurge on a limo. And I think that the limo was about the same price as six seats on the DCL bus. If we'd wanted to save money, a van with driver was quite a bit cheaper still.

I understand the attraction of the bus, but I can't believe it can be more convenient. Our driver was waiting for us at the baggage claim. He placed our luggage on a cart, took it to the limo and we were off. We got to watch our choice of Disney movies, and he dropped us off right at the entrance. How can you beat that?

We used Tiffany Towncar. Very professional service. We were met at the airport, luggage was loaded right outside the luggage claim and a straight shot to the terminal. The driver took us right up to the drop off for luggage and we went right in and registered! We got there before the buses so we were on the ship within 15 minutes of loading. Went straight to Palo and Spa, booked ressies and began enjoying the boat!!!

We used Happy Limo for both of our trips and were very happy with them. We will most likely use them for our next trip. We like the fact that we can be picked up when we want and they will make a grocery stop if we ask.

We used a towncar from Happy Limo in September and could not have asked for any better service. Just the three of us and we drove down in a Lincoln Towncar and they picked us up in a Excursion for the return trip. We would totally use them again. Kevin in the reservations department even remembered our anniversary and wished us a Happy Anniversary upon arrival to Orlando International.
