Which Disney ship has the best concierge?

Sailed Fantasy concierge this past November and loved it. Looking to book another cruise and was wondering which ship you thought had the best concierge. Thanks!

The new Wish class ships have the best concierge lounges by far. We've tried them all. Not that the Dream class is bad though. But the new ships have taken it to a new level.

The Dream was my first concierge experience and it did not meet expectations. However, I believe they have (or will) remodeled the lounge, so I think that will make a huge difference. Agreed with OKW Lover that the Wish class has amazing concierge lounges and areas! The Wonder also has a great lounge.

The Wish has a beautiful concierge lounge. The addition of being able to order small plate, warm food really puts it over the top. Beautiful sundeck area with hot tub and bar. It is very nice

Does anyone know who the Fantasy concierge team is currently. Sailing in a couple of weeks.

What is your definition of "best?" Biggest lounge? Biggest outdoor space? Personalized service? "Best" is subjective.

As others have said, the Wish class ships have nicer lounges and you can order some hot food there. But, those ships also have way more concierge rooms, so you might not get the same 'personalized' service you get on a smaller ship, and you will likely have more competition to get a cabana, if you want one. The Dream also now fits into that category since the dry dock when they updated the lounge and added more staterooms.

I don't have a lot of cruise experience so not really qualified to have much of a fully informed opinion on the topic. Have been on Wonder once and recently Wish. I thought Wonder concierge was 'just ok' - small lounge, minimal food offerings, frankly didn't use it all that much. Great cast/crew though.

On the other hand Wish concierge really blew me away. Beautiful lounge spaces, a fantastic bar (best drinks we had anywhere on the ship), small private hot tubs, tons of indoor or outdoor seating, ability to order a few select food items (this was great for breakfast). We used the lounge/took advantage of the offerings WAY more than we did on the Wonder. Also great crew, much larger than the Wonder - to me it seemed appropriate for the number of guests.

Best will be very subjective of course - and generally speaking I don't think the Disney company as a whole really does "concierge" all that well in any of their formats - but Wish concierge was pretty darn great, IMHO.

There are more concierge CM's on board to handle the increased number of guests. Service remains at a high level.
Yes, but I think the ratio is slightly higher. I could be wrong, but that's what the quick mental math in my head says. I've heard some say that they felt a little more 'lost in the crowd' in concierge on the Wish class ships.

Great question! We have sailed concierge on all the ships and would put the Dream at the top of our list. We are looking forward to seeing the renovated lounge in May. The lounge on the Magic post renovation is awesome and expect it will be the same for the Fantasy as well. The Wonder and Wish are at the bottom of our list.

As folks have stated, "best" is subjective. The concierge CM's make a big difference to the experience but so do the number of folks cramming the lounge for services.

I have to agree with Retiredcruiser-it is the CM's in concierge that make the difference. And if you engage with them. Wish-they are so busy-sometimes it feels like they don't have the time for a chat. Dream, Fantasy etc-feels like they have the time to talk to you and everyone gets to know one another.

The Treasure's lounge and staff were fantastic, but I don't have any other references.

We ate breakfast there every day of the cruise, and frequently lunch as well. Actually, I don't think we ever ended up going to Marceline Market.

The express walk-off for departure was amazing, but I did feel a little bad walking past all the people in line to get off...

This, this, and this! OP, 'best' is going to be your personal preferences. Our first concierge experience was on the Dream and I fell in love with the small intimate feel of the wood paneled lounge and how well we got to know the crew. Plus, our room was just steps away, literally steps away from the lounge. So close it was like my own personal library with a butler taking care of my drink and eating needs. We would wander in from dinner or a show, close to closing, and before we sat down they were already making our favorite nightcaps. They even knew what drinks we liked for cocktail hour. And the crew was especially nice with my wife, which will always win you points in my book. Sailed the dream twice, same thing. And the Fantasy was pretty much the same experience. Plus there were unmistakable disney related touches.

Yes the Wish has a more modern, gleaming steel kind of vibe and is much larger. And with the large windows it felt very airy. I get the appeal. But it reminded me of lounges in nicer luxury hotels, clean, attractive, but not very 'Disney'. And we didn't establish the same relationship with the crew, not even close. And our room was further away. As others have noted service is great in all the ships, its just feels more personal in the smaller ones, probably because the larger ships have more crew.

The Magic... was okay. If you like windows you will love it. And again, we got to know the staff well. It just didnt evoke quite the intimate feelings, for me, as the Dream. That might be related to you never forget your first ship. Or again, the distance from the room to the lounge.

Bottom line, you can't go wrong with concierge on any of the ships. But which is your favorite, is going to be a matter of taste.

The Fantasy was my first concierge. I know that lounge gets a lot of heat because there's no windows to the outside, but I loved the cozy vibe. And that sundeck is great, including the hot tub that was hardly ever used by anyone else!

I agree with you, the Magic lounge was nice-I really liked the refrigerator where you could grab some beverages and yogurt, etc. The design was really nice, but it wasn't cozy like the Fantasy. The Magic outdoor space is also nice, but I like the Fantasy's better. I know they were limited in what they could do during drydock.

I'll echo the sentiments of many of the previous posters - it is very subjective which one might be better.

First Concierge sailing I did was on the Dream, probably 13-14 years ago. Really enjoyed the extra service and attention to detail, how close the room was to the lounge, and overall team that took care of us.

Also have done the Fantasy Concierge twice about 12 years ago - same comments as Dream, thought the outdoor space was a bit better on Fantasy.

The lounges on the Dream/Fantasy that long ago were a bit tight, but also had a cozy feel to them. I've seen the Dream renovated lounge pics and it looks great, we'll be going on Fantasy concierge next February and look forward to trying out what should be a renovated lounge as well.

Fast forward to last year and we did the Magic concierge. The lounge itself was nicely updated, I liked all of the windows/open space. Having the big grab and go refrigerator was great for us and the kids. The big downside was the walk to get there from our room, a few floors + a walk down the hallway to get there. Made it not as easy to pop in to the lounge to grab one of the great cups of coffee or send our young kids over to grab a snack.

Overall I think that the CM make a huge difference in the experience - learning your parties names and giving extra attention to the kids, helping out with anything you need, etc are all nice benefits. On our recent Magic cruise we were surprised to run into one of the Concierge hosts we had on our sailing from 2012! (Kemisha)
