The Little Mermaid?

Little Mermaid was out on DVD a while ago. It is quite the hot ticket if you can find one though

But of course, it isn't even out on video >_>;

Actually in Europe it is. I have a VHS copy.

A better site for what has been released is www.ultimatedisney.com. They have a list you can check off of the animated titles.

If you're talking the animated feature length films, the only ones left to be released are Cinderella (Oct' 05) and Bambi (March '05). Many of the ones people don't realize have been released (Little Mermaid, Lady and the Tramp, Jungle Book, 101 Dalmatians) were among the first wave of DVD's released in 1998/99.

Live action films yet to be released are too numerous to list, but Song of the South is easily the most requested of them. If it's one you would like to see out, you can go to Amazon and Disney's website and add your name to the list of people requesting it

I freely admit that I'm a Disney movie junkie. You don't want to know how many titles I have on DVD, Laser Disc and Video!

PD, actually Song of the South was moratoriumed in Europe on 1/1/03. It's not currently in production anywhere in the world. :)

It seems a LOT of them were released before DVDs were so hot. I remember seeing a 10 pack of them at Costco about 2 years before we got our DVD player (in 2001 I think). I remember seeing the Jungle Book, the Little Mermaid, and possibly Lady and the Tramp in that 10 pack; I even remember thinking "I should buy that now and set it aside." I should have!

I don't think Cinderella has ever been released.

That box set was the first purchase I made after getting the DVD player for Christmas 2000. Mind you, I'd already purchased about a dozen DVD's because I knew I'd have the player.

The Disney Collection Box has:
Little Mermaid
Lion King 2
Jungle Book
Hercules
Lady and the Tramp
Pinocchio
Mulan
101 Dalmatians
Peter Pan.

I got it at Costco for 149, but saw it at Best Buy for 260 a week later! I've seen it periodically on Amazon, believe it or not.

Just did a search and it's on Amazon right now for $329.99! Totally over priced! Probably all used too.

I am bummed and am losing faith that these movies will ever be released on dvd and or bluray...

Horse Sense
The Jungle Book Movie - Mowgli's story
The Garbage Picking Field Goal Kicking Philadelphia Phenomenon
The Air Up There
Johnny Tsunami
Brink!
Motorcrossed
Many more

Other movies not by Disney:
Treasure island
Tio Papi
There are many more

Please someone put pressure on Disney to get more Disney classics and Disney channel original movie released on dvd! If anyone reads this that works for Disney, please help!

I bought Song of the South DVD at a local bookstore this past December. There's a company in Marietta, Ga that has permissions to copy and sell.

Check the dates on the posts - this is a very old thread that was bought back. I'd guess that person did a Google search, saw this and registered to post.

You have a bootleg movie which can be found. SOTS has never been officially released and Disney has no plans to release it due to the movie'a racist stigma. Disney has not given any permissions to any other company to release it. The movie will be in the public domain in 2032.
