Which dishwasher detergant do you use?

I usually buy whatever is on sale and I have coupons for but always liquid, never powder.
If you have your own septic mound I don't know if you have ever heard it but powder is not advised for those kinds of septics, I know and I learned my lesson last year when I had a clogg and when the septic guy found it , told me that it was some kind of powder detergent I used over a long period of time. Go figure, I never used powder for laundry because of that but it never occured to me that I shouldn't do it for the dishwasher either. Now no powder comes into this house at all!

I ALWAYS use Electrosol powerball tablets.

But, I HATE the Electrosol Gel Pacs. Nothing got clean with them. Tried it several times and went back to the tabletss.

I use Electrasol powerball tabs as well. I buy the big container at Sam's Club, so they are pretty cheap and work very well.

I think mine is called Sunlight liquid and it smells like lemons. I use Jet Dry for the drying agent.

Just a side note -- do you ever wonder why the dishwasher soap/tablets have a "scent" to them?

I mean, when you close the door of the dishwasher, do you really smell the lemon scent??? I can see the dish soap you use when you handwash dishes, cause you can smell that, but the other???

But I bet the scented ones sell better...
