Which would you choose - Le Cellier or Be Our Guest?

For me Le Cellier would win that every single time.

BOG was noisy, which I guess is to be expected of an MK restaurant, but really the menu wasn't that impressive with pretty average/mediocre food (the dishes lied, The Grey Stuff wasn't that delicious :() and as we sat in the dark West Wing area I didn't think BOG made for a particularly nice dining experience either.

I thought Le Cellier had amazing food with the second best steak I've had in WDW after the Boathouse, although it's very close between the two, and overall it was just a much nicer dining experience.

We have only eaten at Le Cellier once so we might have just been there on an off night. We are very forgiving when it comes to servers, we understand they are busy and as long as they are somewhat friendly we are good. However, we had literally the most atrocious service at Le Cellier so my DH refuses to ever go back. We don't know if our server was friendly because after he took our drink order he disappeared. We actually had to ask other servers to bring our drinks, take our order, bring our food, and get our bill. There were several other tables that had the same problem. It was brought to the attention of the other servers but no one seemed to care that the server for several tables just vanished into thin air. My DH calmly and quietly explained to the people at the front check in area what was happening (thinking that someone needed to take care of the problem so it wouldn't continue with additional guests) as we left, they just looked at one another was a blank expression like they had no idea what to do and one of them said "Sorry" like it wasn't an issue. Our food was good but, honestly, at Epcot we think there are many more interesting options than steak.

However, BOG has consistently surprised us with the quality of food and service. We have been there at least 5 times for dinner and every single time we have had amazing servers. We also always get the steak at BOG and we are always so surprised at how good it is. We live in Texas and have been to a lot of really great steakhouses. No, the steak isn't on par with a $100 steak from an amazing steakhouse (but I always have difficulty with ANY steak being that expensive), but it is very good for the price you are paying. My DH, son, and I all agree that the steak at BOG is better than the steak we had at Le Cellier - I'm sure the poor service there probably caused us to enjoy our steak less than we would have if we had had decent service. I also think the atmosphere at BOG is fun, even in the main dining room.

We are trying Yachtsman on our next trip so it's possible BOG will no longer be our favorite WDW steak.

Le Cellier is a rip off and the steaks are not that good!! Esp for the prices they charge for steak! To say its the best steak house in disney is laughable...but hey, everyone is entitled to their opinion. The steaks are meh at best, the famous soup in my opinion isnt anything to write home about, and the tables....I could reach over and put my arm around the person next to me. yes its that bad!!!

Without a shadow of a doubt, i'd keep BOG. Esp since your daughter loves the Beast and the castle.

We have reservations for both during our upcoming trip. Our 24 year-old son who doesn't often go with us to Disney loves Le Cellier so it's a must do when he's along.

I really love Le Cellier. I like the dark basement feel, getting out of the sun for a break. I've been there four times, and the servers have always been friendly. I like the signature filet with the wild mushroom risotto. The cheddar cheese soup is salty, but such a wonderful teammate for the included pretzel rolls.

I have been to BOG for breakfast and lunch, and I hated it. The breakfast was not tasty, and lunch was so loud and crowded. I'm still trying to get a dinner reservation, so I haven't given up yet.

Be Our Guest!!

It is the only restaurant we will repeat if/ when we return to WDW.

Considering that Le Cellier holds the place of honor is the biggest rip off I have ever had in a dining establishment your other choices have to be better.

Atmosphere was not nice it's very crowded and very noisy. Service was nonexistent and food quality was below outback steakhouse. There's absolutely nothing to recommend that restaurant

@disneyvoice Yachtsman lets you swap the side that is listed with your entree for any other side. I highly recommend getting the truffle mac & cheese as your side. It's out of this world.

I've been to LC several times and each time it was a poorer experience than the previous. I've never been to BOG, but it gets my vote, I avoid LC since my last time there in 2013

@JerseyJanice Thank you! I didn't even think about doing that! We LOVE Mac and Cheese so we were planning on getting an additional side of it anyway to share but I might end up getting something different with my entree. I am SO excited to try Yachtsman - it is actually the restaurant we are going to for my birthday.

The complimentary bread basket is outstanding at Yachtsman too. Roasted garlic and pull-apart onion rolls.
